Its been a long way
Too long for all of us
That others never made it here
And some of us are still trying to hold on
To the ones who tried
Those who fought tooth and nail
But still
The clouds caught up with them
Its not in vain
Even when the memories bring pain
You are forever with us
To those who fate was never kind
Enough to let them raise even a finger
So as to mould a world of their own liking
A future to call their own
We will live to rember your names
To those of us who are still trying
To hold on to the edges of the world
With no specific place to patch
The heavy wings on our shoulders
Lets keep looking, maybe not today
Soon our solace shall sail
To those of us who are already there
You are a great example to most of us
And a definition that we can wash the sky
As we smile with the stars by our side
With the world dancing on our feet
You did well, stay on top and help us climb
So we may all have something to celebrate
For the little that you've given your all
Your dedication, hardwork is not in vain
We appreciate you
Thank you for being strong
Thank you for being courageous
Thank for holding on
And thank you for never giving up
