In this cold darkness, I'm the warmest thing there is.

Your body jerks up in bed. Your heart pounded like you we're running for miles, every nerve in your body was tense.

What happened to you?

Looking down you saw yourself sitting in a bed, wearing a pair of blue PJs that most definitely didn't belong to you and you were sweating.

" Are you ok?" You looked to the side seeing him, the man that has been nothing but nice and gentle to you the person who was so fond of you and everything including you.

Toshinori reached his hand and touched your sweaty forehead and leaned his own on the back of his palm
"your body is burning, were you having a nightmare you looked like you were choked so I woke you up" his big hand moved from your forehead down to your cheek.

" baby are you ok?" You pushed his hand gently and sigh rubbing your face then deciding it was a good time to get out of these wet clothes first " toshi...I'm fine. Can you help change I feel weak." The blonde quickly did as told.

He helped you strip down to your underwear to witch he didn't want to touch with the excuse of that it's your privates and he didn't trust himself to not stare.

" Didn't know you were such a pervert bunny " you weakly pinched his cheek seeing a blush appear on his golden honey skin " please don't say that....I'm only allowing you to have some sort of privacy " raising a brow at him the urge to tease him more grew.

With your hair sticking your forehead from the sweat you sighed. Putting a hand under your cheek giving him a mischievous smirk smirk " so you don't think about me in that way? Even though you almost ripped my clothes off in a public place"

" I-....could you stop? It's embarrassing..." you couldn't help but laugh.

" Toshi"

" yes?" You got closer to the older male cupping his face in your hands and pressed a butterfly kiss onto his chapped lips, so light yet so long and lingering in the best way.

Are you falling this fast?

" I'm hungry! I'll shower then we cook alright " his blue eyes stayed dazed on your own, something about you today seemed different. You looked more relaxed? " ok. I'll wait for you. "

Warm water was always your best friend in most days, your muscles almost screamed at you but it wasn't the worst feeling and you felt light.

New pair of PJs were set on the bed you once slept on for god knows how long and the sheets were changed. You dried your wet skin then grabbed the pants thanking god they had strings to tie them to your waist size since they are like two times bigger than you.

There is no point in wearing these.

You decided to stay shirtless considering that the house felt warm as well, you wore the slippers outside the door when you opened it and walked a straight line until you saw some stairs.

At the end of the stairs, there was a small living room on the left and a kitchen on the right and right in front of you, there was the front door of the house.

It was small but big enough for one or two people to live in, it had that comfy feeling to it and the smell of green apples wasn't something you were going to complain about. Toshinori's messy blonde hair could be seen tied back in a ponytail moving slightly as he flipped the pages of a cooking book it seemed.

He was wearing a gray sweater that was a little big on him and a pair of jean shorts that stopped at his knees, you would be lying if you said you didn't wear something similar like that at one point.

So fluffy though.

Everything about him was just so soft at that moment, him gently flipping the papers and the small hair clips he had in his hair to push away his long bangs and the way he pouted when focusing.

Without even realizing you hugged him from behind Making him tense a little bit before looking back at your face buried in his back "....Oh. Are you feeling ok?" You nod your head before looking up.

" I just want to hug you that's all " you could've sworn you saw him golden cheeks redden a little bit " o-oh!" He felt so warm.

Toshinori let you be while looking back again at the cooking book for a few minutes before he closed it and turned over making you face him.

" let's make lunch " his voice was like music to your ears, maybe you're just falling too hard or maybe it's the fact that his tone makes you feel welcomed.

Some points were made in that kitchen starting with, Toshinori is actually a decent cook until you and he could make a mean breakfast.

Both of you stayed chatting calmly about the Halloween party at the school and to your surprise, you found out that you've been sleeping for the past three days and have just got out of the hospital today.

" What? Am I making you uncomfortable?" you asked after noticing how he was staring at you while sitting beside him on the couch you guessed it was the lack of clothes on you but that was, of course, an excuse to not talk about the hospital and all that drama.

But not everything can be kept a secret.

This fire will burn inside until the ashes from your soul blow with the wind.

" No. I know it might be not the right time but may I ask what happened that night at the hospital that lead you to you know what"

" I...its a lot to take in"

" everything started the moment I was born" as time passed and you spoke you felt colder and not from the lack of clothes but from the inside from dead down that fire was somehow turning off.

His arms covered you up and held you to his chest, his warmth was all you wanted to feel and he understood.

" I never knew what love was after she left me, she was my everything. My World." you wondered how your eyes had more tears to shed after that mental breakdown at the hospital but there you were curled up against the kind heart that stopped you from doing something so horrible.

" Please hold me tight Toshi "

" I will I promise I will never let go"

I love him.

The little boy has grown now.
