The nurse was just fixing you up before the second round of the sports festival but your visitor wouldn't get the signal to leave you in peace.

Paimon was seriously starting to get on your last nerve with the number of questions she asked the nurse and the fact that she followed you from the main stadium to the nurse's office.

At least now I know her pronounces.

"I'm a girl I know I look rough on the edges but I'm a female"

"All done kid. Good luck and don't break any bones we have a policy here about that" you nodded remembering the first day of school, one of the first things you were informed that students who break their bones or get seriously injured by their own quirks are put on a deadline if the semester ends with more than three major injuries caused by own quirk the student is either expelled or put in a special class to control own quirk before coming back to their regular studies.

"Can I come in?" Your attention got taken by the voice of Toshinori who stood at the nurse's office door.

"Of course your friend is fully treated now"

I'm not gonna even bother.

Toshinori walked in calmly taking in your bandaged arms, it reminded him of his teaching days at U.A and if recovery girl was still around she would've roasted his ass.

"How are you feeling?" He asked sitting beside you on the bed.

"I've dealt with worse" you smiled sighing while letting your head rest on his arm "I've read before how the hero deku almost killed himself when he did his first sports festival, must've been intense seeing it live" Toshinori shook his head recalling that day, how he gave his student at the time a speech about standing out and rising to occasion.

"Yeah. It was pretty crazy." You two stayed in silence after for a couple of minutes before you noticed that the nurse went out, you guessed it was probably to get a refill of coffee since her cup was empty.

"By the way haven, you see a student standing by at the door before you came inside?" Toshinori blinked before his eyes widened "oh actually yes there was a student standing there, they had a very interesting looking quirk too, a friend of yours?"

If only you knew.

"It's kind of a long story but I'll tell you when the festival is over and we can finally rest"

"I see. I saw ash when I was coming here getting some food for him and his girl" you hummed than pushed yourself away from him and slapped his arm a bit too hard "and that's for what!!?"

"Because I'm hungry and you didn't even bother thinking I might like a doughnut! What a boyfriend you are" he pouted before cupping your face in his hands and leaving butterfly kisses all over your face until you felt too flustered from the affection and laughed telling him to stop.

"Let's get you something before the second round we still have like ten minutes left before the call back starts" you nodded putting on your jacket over your bandaged arms and putting back your rings on.

As you walked in the halls of U.A many students gave you looks of curiosity and a few whispers flew here and there.

You couldn't blame them, you were the quiet intelligent student in the support department that rare went out of the workshop.

And might you add it was spread around that you helped fix the great pro hero ground zero's hero equipment.

And now with the first one, you stood out like a sore thumb, all eyes on you.

If it wasn't for Toshinori walking beside you thought you might've passed out from the anxiety attack building up from being watched by everyone in the entire school.

The screens were different, you didn't give a damn at the time you were focused on getting that first place no matter what, that it didn't cross your mind how anti-social you actually were.

"Two apple juice boxes and one glazed doughnut please," Toshinori ordered while you looked for your student ID.

After your little order was done you handed the man behind the stand your card and he scanned it then returned it to you.

Any student that is a part of the sports festival can get free food and drinks with their student ID.

You wished this was a daily treat then you wouldn't have to starve all day because you have no money to buy food from the cafeteria.

The doughnut was delicious and your stomach didn't feel like it was eating itself for once.

As you two were walking back to the inside of the stadium you got a glance of some of the glares your best friend was getting because of his new girlfriend.

Jealousy can be a disease.

Though it meant you could tease him about it later, which never fails to annoy him.

"The next round will be announced after three minutes! Please report back to the stadium the second round will start soon."

"Time to go. Good luck" Toshinori smiled giving you a thumbs up. You chuckled taking his hand and kissing it.

The action made him blush slightly but you found it cute, you waved goodbye to him then buttoned up your jacket.

As you ran the hall you felt the cheers and voices of the audience getting louder and clearer.

The light to the outside appeared.

Your felt but heavy the second you saw yourself on the huge screens, your face, and a replay of the first round.

The first thing you noticed but that rare color on your fangs.

It rarely showed up but when it did it only meant that your mind was blank and could think of one thing.

Breath in. Breath out.

"Students be ready the second round will require you to team up with another student. The game goes as said in pairs and the last pairs to still be standing on their feet win this round and make it to the final round and how you lose you wonder? Easy whoever falls down is out the game but there is a catch!"

There's always a catch.

"The two students were be handcuffed to each other which leads to a second point of the game of my any chance the handcuffs are broken you're also out. You have two minutes to find a partner GO!!"

Your eyes quickly scanned your surroundings but each time you landed on someone it turned out they are taken, even ash was taken.

"Rainbow boy wanna team up with me?" You turned around facing the person talking to you, with a big grin on his face he held the handcuffs out to you.

"Hm. Let's get puppet boy"

Both of you stood next to each other as the boy adjusted the handcuffs tightly on you both, you could tell they weren't anything special which meant they would easily get broken by any strong pull or attack.

U.A likes to play hard to get with students.

"In three...two...one...GOOOO!!!"

The second round has begun.
