I fell over a glacier too, but it wasn't that bad.

Hooray! We are almost at the end of our adventure!

Arion took us all the way to the top of the glacier, but it wasn't a smooth ride. I actually thought that I was going to fall off the horse. I was literally dangling off his rear end! Avalanches of snow and icicles rained down on us, but Arion was quick and agile. With a lot of cussing, we made it to the top.

We decided to set off the rest of the way on foot after that. I noticed that there was a frozen replica of a Roman camp. It seemed much like a ghost town because there were no signs of life anywhere. That was until we saw a hooded figure in icy chains and we knew that it had to be Thanatos. Hazel called out to him, and when he lifted his head, the camp became alive with ghosts.

We turned towards Thanatos and Hazel told him that we were here to free him. He had to control the shades first though so that we could help him. But, when he lifted his hood, he was the most beautiful man that I had ever seen. Handsome or hot was definitely not the right word to describe this angelic beauty. With his muscular and lean figure, he looked like a buff Cupid.

Thanatos

Thanatos told us that those shades weren't his, but they were Alcyoneus'. That's when we saw that terrible giant, with his many gems all around his body. We wanted to destroy him.

Alcyoneus

I took charge on defeating the shady ghosts, Hazel took on Golden Boy (Alcyoneus), and Frank was trying to free Alcyoneus. Since Thanatos said that the fire of life would be able to free him, Frank thought that burning his stick was the only way.

While I was battling the ghosts with my whirlwind power, I grabbed their legion's golden eagle and tried to taunt them. But, I was already getting tired. Every time I killed some of them, they kept on reforming. Luckily, Frank was able to melt all of Thanatos' chains, so everyone was able to die. However, I was getting closer and closer to the edge of the glacier.

I noticed that Frank and Hazel were handling the Giant really well. He seemed to be snoring over there on the ground. I told them to go and then I struck Riptide on the ice and fell over the edge along with the ghosts and the Roman camp.

This is just an example, but there weren't any cool tricks in the process.

But don't worry! I did not die or drown like the prophecy said. The son of Neptune doesn't do that. I was able to use the water to take me back to the edge of the glacier and that's when I saw Hazel and Frank come back with Arion. It seemed that they killed Alcyoneus by crossing the border from Alaska to Canada. It was the only way since the giant was only able to die out of his homeland.

After that, we collected some Imperial gold weapons that the ghosts used and set off on our four-hour journey to save Camp Jupiter.
