Me:Just say Jimmy was a crooked cop that tried to pin anyone down for the robberies, that he blackmailed my brother in law and told him to take the cap to avoid the arresting his wife who's was falsely accused. You know the drill.

I smile and lean on the desk, the bowl of mints sits on the edge, just ready to tipped over.
