⊱⋅ ─ 10: SPLASH
"Run fast for the team, baby," Changbin said, planting a quick kiss on Hyunjin's lips, only having Hyunjin to give him a chaste kiss, pulling him back quickly.
"Hey," Chan called to the couple, "you can makeout when the race is over," he added, then the two parted a moment after, Hyunjin quick-walked towards the starting line without waiting for Yugyeom.
As for the older male that took Jisung's substitute for the night, he turned to Chan and smiled, "Any moral support?" He joked and Chan laughed shortly, shoving Yugyeom off lightly, "We won't let you down, leader!"
Chan chuckled under his breathe as he watched Yugyeom fade into the crowd, heading for the starting line, "I know you won't."
Chan then focused on Felix, who was actually still worried about him, the way that the middle of the younger male's forehead creased told Chan that the younger won't settle down, not until Chan would actually assure him and he knew it, Chan raised a brow, quite an indication that he was curious and concerned with Felix, but he failed doing so since he felt a prickling pain run down from his wound that sent a kind of electric shock to his eyebrow.
Hissing in pain, yet laughing softly, Chan shook his head, "Fuck," he huffed as he straightened up his posture, "I didn't realize that it hurt until now." He joked but got a fist land on his shoulder, causing him to yell in pain, but then laugh even louder.
"It wasn't even funny!" Felix yelled at Chan, punching him again as hard as he could, "You idiot!" But even so, Chan was still laughing heartily, blocking and dodging from the following punches from the freckled male.
"Alright, alright, Felix," Chan laughed, finally grabbing the younger male's wrists, "how about we go somewhere I know we could get a better view of the race?"
The freckled male raised a brow, trying to pry his wrists from the older male's grasp, Chan did let go of the younger male's wrists, but his right hand held Felix's left hand quickly before they ran towards a water tower, the younger male nearly stumbling as he followed close behind, but Chan held him, making sure that the new member of the team was taken care of safely while they were on the way to the water tower.
"You go up first," Chan said suggestively as he stepped aside to let Felix get to the ladder, it was incredibly high up, but the older was sure that they can have a better view of the race from there, all he needed was the younger male to trust his instincts.
"Why should I go up first?" Felix didn't really like the idea on going up before Chan could, he does trust Chan at some point, but circumstances like this? Nope.
Chan shrugged his shoulders, and the oh so familiar smirk was carved up on his lovely lips, "So that someone, specifically, me, could catch you if you fall, mate," he wiggled his eyebrows at Felix to which the younger rolled his eyes in return, climbing up the ladder anyway, he doesn't have much of a choice, "careful, Felix."
Rolling his eyes again, looking down, he didn't realize that he was up high, until he did that, well, at least for him, it was extremely high. Reaching the top of the water tower, the cold evening breeze welcomed Felix, brushing over his freckled cheeks and through his lovely locks, shutting his eyes as he savored the great sensation.
"Nice place to stay, right?" Chan leaned on the railing as he got to the top, looking at Felix with a less annoying smirk, or so Felix thought, the younger male nodded as he glanced at Chan, "Figured it all out."
