⊱⋅ ─ 19: SECRETIVE

Placing the last luggage on the floor by the corner of the room where Chan is going to share with Felix, he lied down on the plush bed, a sigh of relief escaping his lips, his arms spread to the side as his legs were hanging at the edge, he shut his eyes for a few seconds and he heard the door creak open, followed by Felix's soothing voice.

"Chan?" Felix called as he lied on his side beside Chan, "Minho, Changbin, Bambam and the others are going to the river to cool down, they wanna ask if you wanna go with them."

Opening one eye to look at Felix, he smiled and shook his head, "How about we both stay here and enjoy the air conditioning?" Chan said rather suggestively to the younger male, a glint in his eyes that Felix was all so familiar with.

Felix hummed, lying on his back as he sighed, "This bed is comfy," he mused, eyes closed as he prompted his hands at the back of his head, "I wouldn't mind staying here, I still got a bit of fatigue from the travel."

Chan then pulled Felix to lie on his chest, the two males sighing in content, "You know, I can stay like this everyday."

"Listen, Felix hasn't been in a relationship with anyone, never even had friends since we moved here," Felix's father, Dongjun, said, lighting up a cigarette and puffing on it, "he started working, stopped school so that Chaewon could go to school instead and all that stuff."

"I understand, sir."

"Sir..." The man chuckled, puffing out some smoke, "Don't call me that, you're family, I might not know it, but something tells me that you are a lad with a good heart."

"Maybe when we clear off all the trouble," said Felix, looking up at Chan with an eye smile, his chin resting on the older male's chest.

Smiling down at the freckled male, he pulled Felix into a chaste kiss, "You're so beautiful." He whispered, his voice a bit raspy as he did, as if he could break Felix if he wouldn't be as soft as that.

"Why do you have to say that every time you kiss me?" Felix asked, averting his eyes from Chan, a tint of pink dusting his freckled cheeks.

It's been a while since Chan and Felix had been exchanging actions of affection, whether it was in private or in public, they'd exchange quick kisses, sometimes hug the other from the back, Chan would feed Felix, sometimes even play with his hair and Felix would squish Chan's cheeks for some reasons, and it was starting to become a normal thing for their group of friends.

"I might not show it, but I care about Yongbok, he's the only son my wife and I have and the only brother Chaewon has, if anything happens at all, please, make sure you'll be there to support him and protect him in matters of danger, but most of all, I don't want you to hurt him, in any type of way, he's a strong young man, he never shows his weaknesses unless he's alone," the man said, looking off into the distance as he puffed on his cigarette again, "I heard him muffling his sobs every night when he failed to get money, that boy, he loves helping others, he might be cocky at times, but his heart is fragile, so please, promise me, be there for him."

Chan chuckled, a soft kiss landing on Felix's cheek, "Because you are, Lix, and nothing will change that," he said, his hand resting on Felix's cheek, his thumb tracing the younger male's freckles again for who knows how many times, "You're my beautiful, beautiful Felix." Chan leaned in slowly closing the gap between the two of them, his eyes closing as well as Felix's, but they were interrupted when the door to their shared room swung open.
