⊱⋅ ─ 08: PLATFORM
"What? Don't cancel the race?" Jaehyun questioned, rising from his seat, his hands laying flat on top of the long conference table, probably thinking that Taeyong has lost his mind, "If we don't cancel the race, there's a possibility that racers will be at a high percentage of risk," he said, banging his balled right hand on the glass surface, the objects on top of it shaking slightly, "many vehicles and other city facilities will be damaged and racers will be injured and will take time to recover before the next races, not to mention that the smog has occupied majority of the inside of the walls, they'd be exposed to biohazard."
As expected from a son and heir of the head of the Jung Pharmaceuticals, he wouldn't want the company to be distributing medicine to the poor without having anything in return, it will just lead the company to slowly crumble, lose employees, young and old, and the finest ones yet.
"Ah, Jung," Taeyong chuckled as he shook his head, "I never meant for the race for tonight to be dangerous, I want it to be challenging," he said, tapping his pointer finger on the glass table, a confident smile gracing his lips, "besides, I am intrigued to see the runners for tonight of what they may be able to do. I can provide the car and motor racers with materials they need for the recovery of their vehicles, no need to panic, unless you are unwilling to give out medicine for those from the average and lower classes."
"You may have to add changes to this type of race, Lee Taeyong," Johnny suggested, "safety measures and equipments perhaps, like surgical masks and sweaters, the fog seems to be dangerous."
Seo Youngho, but much preferred to be called Johnny, a son and heir to a Mechanical Engineering Company, of course, though cold looking on the outer appearance, he has a heart for anyone no matter the status, and he does care for anyone's sake.
Taeyong burst in laughter, "It's smog, Seo," he answered, "all it can bring is fever or maybe flu if you're not careful, this should be fine, as long as we change the venue for the race."
"Change of venue?" Doyoung perked up, "we had set the venue last night, the race is a few hours away, where exactly do you want the race to be?"
Taeyong stood up from his seat, taking sloppy steps from his seat to each and every seat of the other heirs, "What do you all have to say for the race last night?"
"Well," Jungwoo spoke up, "it was intriguing, considering that Bang Chan has brought a new member for his little team, and yet, it is still the same as ever," he said, leaning into his seat after, distatse and boredom showing on his face of the reminiscence of the events not just the night before, but also the other nights.
"And as predictable as always," Doyoung interjected, sipping a bit of the wine he held firmly and gracefully in his hand, "the runners seemed to win, still."
Taeyong nodded in agreement lightly as an expectant grin was etched on his lips, "Then, let us take the venue at the old and nearly abandoned dirt track in specifically District 11."

Subject: Transfer of Venue------------------------
Greetings racers.
Due to the state of our city from Districts 1 to 9 to be affected of the smog being dangerous and may cause certain illnesses, the race will most certainly not take place at the Middle Class Residences, but we will have to change the platform for tonight to Junkyard District, at the old dirt track, no rules will be changed.
