Arjun began getting more and more annoying to Diya and he did it, fully aware of his antics. On one particular day he pretended to be sick just so Diya would be forced to skip one of her meetings and stay at home to look after him! He left no opportunity to say something enough to trigger Diya or just simply make her fun in front of everyone in the house.

Meanwhile Diya began adjusting to her environment, adapting, she was well aware that Arjun was hell bent on kicking her out and she could prevent this by staying in the house but not staying with him. This could possibly be achieved only by bonding with his family, besides now Diya was finding them more tolerable and more family like where everyone was given equal respect and everyone's opinion was considered equally irrespective of their age or gender, something that her family had lacked.

She began to enjoy the Dinners, breakfasts and lunches, where you were allowed to laugh and talk about the randomest topics, where business wasn't the only topic of discussion. She began being more reverent to her in laws and began policing her father in laws diet. Even though Diya constantly told herself that she was doing all this because she was forced to, she actually was enjoying it.

Diya began getting more comfortable with Arjun siblings as well as they began opening up to her. Shreya was friendly and cheerful already but she began sharing her qualms and desires with Shreya, her 'bhabhi' . On a particular day, or night to be more precise, when her parents-in-law were alseep, as Diya passed by Shreya's room, she heard her say , "nahi gautham nahi, aisa mat  karo, main tumse pyaar karti hoon! tumhare bina jee nahin sakti hoon! hamare pyaar ko samajhne wala chahe koi ho ya nahin, mujhe mat chodke jao!"

Out of concern, Diya ran inside to pacify the young girl, she took it as her responisbility not to let people waste themselves over love, As soon as she stepped inside, Shreya had something behind her back, presumably the phone.

"Shreya! no shreya, don't do this! If Gautham doesn't understand you and wants to leave you then he doesnt deserve you! Give me your phone, main use abhi theek karti hoon!

"No bhabhi, actually"

"Give me the phone Shreya, I'll fix this moron, right now!"

Shreya stealthily pulled out a script from behind her and gave it to DIya. "Bhabhi, I was practicing for an audition?"

"Audition really? You want to act? oh my god that's so cool" Diya said as she remembered that it was her dream to act once too only that she didnt have the courage to act on her dreams, but shreya was doing it

"Yeah, I want to, but Bhabhi please dont tell anyone!"

"Why, but mummyji papaji are so understanding, they respect everyone's opinions and choices!"

"Yeah, this house gives you the freedom to choose everything except your career. This was decided the day bhaiya gave up-" she hesitated and then abruptly said "the only career we can build here is joining Papa's business, sometimes I think about running away from here"

"I want to run away and get married, what about you diya!"

"meeta didi, I will run away if you talk about marriage!"  both the girls began laughing loudly.

"What are you saying Shreya? Running away! Shreya you know how much running away can cause someone pain right? Don't you see it?" Diya said with patience referring to Meeta

"Yeah but Bhabhi I can't let them know, I'll have to hide it!"

"Dont" Diya said speaking from her own experience, "Things that you hide become like debts that you'll have to pay back in the form of difficult decisions"
