August was beginning. The month had passed by quickly and Arjun and Diya barely even had the time to look at the canvas. The entire village was hoping for a good monsoon, that only hit around mid August. Even though the meteorological department had announced that the rain this time would be normal, the entire village had already begun to pray.  The last two days had been tough for Both Diya and Arjun. Arjun  was looking after the electricity project more intensely and the school project became Diya's responsibility entirely. Although the construction of the school had been quick, the final touches were still remaining and the in charge of construction had left overnight with his team. The event as getting closer and the school had to be completed for it's inauguration. Diya had spent the previous night in site inspection and all the detailed explanation and the night before in obtaining quotes from the vendors and discussing with Arjun who could complete the work so quick in limited amount of time and money. To add to her sleep deprivation was her menses. She knew by the PMS that they were due any day now and finally that morning it happened.

She clutched her stomach and came out, Arjun had left at 5 in the morning, she heard the horn of a car and she looked out the window. A large SUV appeared on the gates of the Haveli. Who could it be, she wondered, she wasn't notified about any one's visit. She got down the stairs to go to the door, she saw familiar faces enter it.

"Dev, shreya!" She jumped in glee, Shreya ran to hug Diya. "Bhabhi, we missed you so much!!!"

"I missed you too" Diya said, not just because she was obligated to do so, but she really had missed the city life and they had become a part of her city life. A bunch of other people followed them, carrying their suitcases. Diya instantly noticed them as Arjun's cousins. She had met all of them before as Meeta's sister before the wedding and as Arjun's wife is had always been a smile of acknowledgment or a hello, nothing more.

"jhooth toh bolo hi mat, Just accept it that bhaiya didn't let you miss us only!" Dev said looking at Diya in an accusatory tone, "not even one phone call, you broke my heart" Dev added putting both his hands on his heart dramatically.

The rest of the members came forward, Diya began thinking hard to recall their names. "Hi bhabhi!" A girl, she remembered her name was shikha, said as she came forwards and hugged Diya.

"Bhabhi!" one of the other boys said as he spread his hands for a hug, then just simply took out his hand for a hand shake, "Arjun will kill me if he sees me touch you" he said with a wink. His name was nikhil, Diya remembered from the wedding. Followed by Aman, who simply waved and introduced himself .

In that moment DIya heard Arjun's voice, he skipped steps and ran into the house, "Dev!" he screamed as he spread his hands, the both of them held each other in tight embrace, it was a typical bharat Milap. He then went around hugging everyone.

"Bhabhi, I heard you have also become a total workaholic! Are you taking inspiration from our bhaiya" Shreya commented. She was happier than usual, probably enjoying her diploma in acting.

"Oh no no shreya, she is only giving me competition" Arjun said aloud and then whispered to Diya who was standing next to him, "and surely winning". Diya rolled her eyes.

"WHatever it is now, we are here for 3 days, till rakhi and you guys are not going to do any work and only spend time with us!" Dev declared.

"But we can't afford that" Diya whispered to Arjun

"Diya, we can, trust me, and this way we'll get to relax, I know you've been overworking a lot lately" Arjun whispered back

"No i haven't!" Diya whispered back

"Is it? how much sleep have you caught in the last two days" Arjun said, this time he came so close to her ear that she could hear him breathe. It gave her the same churning in the stomach.
