The story after it all

Chapter 6

        Tsumugi Shirogane and Shuichi Saihara stared at eachother, Tsumugi's gaze nervous and apologetic, Shuichis fearful and angry.

"Get out." He stated plainly, his grip on Rantaros hand tightening.
The green haired man bit his lower lip, wincing a bit. "Shuichi, calm down." he ran his thumb over the back of Shuichi's hand trying to sooth him, also trying to keep his hand in one peice.

   Shuichi turned away from Tsumugi, his lower lip quivering in anger.
Rantaro pulled him a bit closer, in a protective sort of manor. "Shirogane, get out of here."

      The woman looked at them and let out a soft sigh, "I am sorry Saihara. I hope one day you can forgive me." and with those words she left the hospital room. A rapid beeping sound echoes through the room as the heart monitor showed shuichi's rising heart rate as his blood began to boil.

  Keade ushered the others out of the room, feeling it was best to leave Rantaro and shuichi alone to chill out, and considering the detectives personality, pda dosent seem like something he would be overly fond of at the first moment. 

   Rantaro watched everyone leave the hospital room, and flashed Keade a thankfull smile. The blonde girl smiled back, bowed her head, and softly closed the door.

    "Shuichi, love, are you okay? How can i help you calm down?"
The detective wrapped his arms around him, and buried his face into the crook of Rantaro's neck,
"I don't know, i can't control myself, When i see her i just want to cry or strangle her.... i... did you guys really just forgive her like that?" he asks again, visibly upset.

   Rantaro ran his fingers through Shuichis soft, kind of oily hair (from laying in a hospital bed for three weeks) and kissed the side of his head, "No, but we are trying to just get through with this, and make it out of here. I'm sorry you have to see her, im sorry you had to go through so much."

  Shuichi looked up at him, and rantaro took note of the small tears welling in his eyes, "Thank you Rantaro." the green haired man wiped the tears from his eyes, placing his lips to his cheek softly, "Shuichi, can i kiss you?" he asks, looking into the detectives eyes.

    He chuckled softly, "You just did, but yeah, I'd like another one." a sheepish smile crossed his lips.
Rantaro pulled him close and pressed their lips together in a loving and comforting kiss. He cupped the shorter mans cheek and smiled a bit, "I love you shuichi." he said quietly, "Never forget that."

Shuichi let out a soft sigh, "I love you too Rantaro." he leaned against him, feeling much calmer and a bit more at peace. the thought ofTsumugi and the killing game pushed to the back of his mind. Just Rantaros precence alone made him a much happier person. he closed his eyes, interlacing their fingers together.

"Rantaro, can we go to the cafeteria? I feel a bit hungry and i dont really want to go alone."      He nods and gets up, helping Shuichi to his feet, "Thank you." he spoke softly, leaning againt him feeling his legs weak. they woke side by side to the cafeteria.

Rantaro lead him to a table and got him something simple to eat, not wanting to overdo it all things considered. hegot something for himself and satback down infront of him, sliding a tray of food  over to him. He  smiled and the two ate in comfortable silence.

//Hello eveyone! "Wow??? Another part???" they ask, bewildered. Yes! Ahaha, no one asked but i dilevered to fuel my own little hopeful ego that someone genuinley waits for chapters to release and was unsatisfed with the 1 year hiatus. ANYWAYS hi. im back, ill try to update every monday or tuesday (prolly tuesday) and hopes peak bar will update every wensday or thursday. I also have a novel on my account Spectraltunic that im currently writing that updates every sunday! Its called "Dark Beyond" so it would be lovely if you guys went and checked that out! Worked hard on it. haha, anyways, im really truley sorry for being gone so long, and i will respond to ANYTHING you comment or message to me. teehee, till next week.
