"So... you want teenagers... to help you fight these people... who are all older than us?" Ari recapped, "Seems legit. We are awesome, after all."
"Essentially, yes. This offer also applies to your parents, too. I already contacted them." the Terrus continued, "And that's not all. Those co-ordinates on that paper I gave you a few weeks ago? They are supposed to lead to your parents that you don't know--" psych, I don't know either of them!-- "and are near places the PardusFighters plan to strike soon. If we can do a few weeks' training in between, you could all go and do what you need to do, while helping us. Of course, when we try to prevent the PardusFighters' attacks, we will have other agents there too."
"Hold up," River cut in, looking worried, "How do you know all this?"
"We have a few double agents," the Terrus answered, "Now, please get some rest. Oh, and Cirocco? Happy birthday."

"Well, that was quite the information dump," Audra stated.
"Is it just me, or did that Lio guy look familiar?" I asked her and Neil. We were back at Neil's place, and the three of us were sitting in the room Audra and I were staying in. Keith was trying to put Neil's little siblings to bed. I loved the little guys, their little fluffy fledging wings were so cute!
"No... d-don't think so," Audra replied.
"Me neither," Neil said, "but I have a bad feeling that there might be a lot of people we know with them soon."
"Hate to agree, but I do," I replied.
Silence.
"So, anyways, we should get to bed soon. It's almost midnight," Audra yawned.
"But it's my birthday!" I cried. I then thought of an idea, "Hey Neil! What's that thing you said about what the best medicine is for tiredness?"
"...Coffee?" He answered, confused.
"Caffine isn't medicine," Audra pointed out just as I shouted, "Wrong! It's this!" and slammed him in the face with a pillow.
"Oh-ho, you are so on!" he replied, smacking me back. I laughed. We pillowfought for a few minutes, and then Audra joined in.

"Up 'n' at 'em!" I heard Neil call from outside the room the next morning, "We've got some stuff to do!"
"Ufgh, comin'" I groaned and sat up. My messy hair looked even more tousled than ever when I wake up. Audra, like she always does, sat up silently and swiftly. We both quickly got dressed-- me in my new birthday outfit--, brushed our hair, and went downstairs.
"Okay, why did we have to get up at seven when we went to bed at one-thirty?" I asked Neil as I began to make breakfast.
"Because we've got something to do today!" He answered cheerfully, then took a bite of his toast.
"Can't it, like, be later in the day?" I replied.
"Nope!" He said, "They're expecting us!"
"Who?" Audra asked, sitting down and eating.
"The Terrus!"

This was going great until the fighting began and Raina went ballistic on an automaton.
Keith got a babysitter for Neil's siblings and he drove us to--
"An upper secondry school?" Audra asked once we parked, "It's Sunday, and we don't even go to this one. Why would the Terrus be meeting us here?"
