The Terrus stood up quickly at the sight of their beaten-looking friend.

"What is it?" They asked frantically.

"We've had some, ahem, programming issues," Willow told them.

"I'm real sorry, I'll be back soon!" The Terrus called as they dashed out of the room as Willow lead the way down one of the halls.

"Okay, Little Miss Fierce, do not go charging off--" Neil pointed to me sternly, but I was already running down the hall after them. He groaned and followed, as did his dad and Ari. Eventually, everyone was darting down the green maze of hallways and eventually into a room Willow lead us into.

I burst through the doors, and found a large room, the size of a gymnasium, filled with people fighting what looked like black and bronze Avian robots with silver and gold weapons.

"Good god," Ikaika said.

"Willow!" I yelled, "Where are our weapons? We need to help!"

"Argh, here!" He yelled back, coming over and pulling things out of his backpack. He handed me and Ari a ring each, River some gloves, Audra a bracelet, Raina earrings, and Neil a pencil.

"Uh...?" Ari made a face as he took the ring. It was simple, golden with a little green gem on it. He flipped it into the air, but the strangest thing happened: it turned into a sword, and he caught it on the way down.

"Whoa-ho-hoa!" He exclaimed, "Kitsune magic is awesome!" He charged off to help in the fight and started swinging at robots.

We all started fiddling with our little accessories as Willow tossed aside his bag, shifted into his normal, three-tailed, gold fox form and ran off to help.

I looked at my ring. It fit perfectly on my finger, and was the same silver as the katana's blade. It had the same little garnet, too. I started poking and twisting it, and once I pressed the garnet, the ring slid around my finger somehow, reformed into the handle, and the silver blade shot outwards from it.

"Oh yeah!" I yelped.

Audra somehow clicked the white beads of her bracelet into some sort of place and it did what my ring did and turned into her dagger. One of Raina's earrings' teardrop gems fell off the ring became her quiver of arrows, and the other the bow. Neil's pencil extended into his spear and River's gloves into two daggers

We ran off into the fight, and Raina and I took on a robot together. They were the size of an adult, and had no hair on their metallic scalp. Their eyes were just glowing cameras, and their mouth like a puppet's. It had no weapons as far as I could see, but the entire freaking thing was metal soooo I don't think that mattered.

I could tell Raina was attempting her taekwondo, doing a bunch of fancy kicks and spins and punches.

"Ow-ow-wow!" She yelped when she kicked the robot. She shook her foot, and I feel like it would bruise.

"It's metal, f course it hurts!" I cried.

"Keepin' that for future reference!" She told me as she dodged the robot's swing.

I tried to slice it in the torso, but it only dented the thing. I dodged and tried again on its back. Still no.

"Try getting in the joints in between the plates!" I heard someone call from across the room. I couldn't take my eyes off of our robot, so I didn't see who said it, but I tried it anyway. I jabbed at the waist, a chink open to the inside. I sliced a wire, and the robot suddenly short-circuited for a moment.
