Amber's POV

(After the graduation party.)

Sitting in my car, I repeated this day in my head.

Woke up, went to school, left early.

Got my hair done, changed, and applied some makeup.

Put my heels on, and jammed to Disclosure on the way to the church.

I got out of the car, and went inside, worrying for what was to come;

graduation.

My class was practicing the march when I arrived.

He saw me.

He had a stern expression, but when he saw me, his face softened.

These heels work wonders.

See, I chuckled to myself when I remember the first time I wore them..

Since everybody in my class is so short, I teased them about how taller I was than them.

He saw that I was teasing, so he motioned for me to come over to him while smiling.

I made my way over there, and as soon as I did, he looked in my eyes, smiled , put his left hand on my right shoulder, and his right hand holding the back of my neck softly; and pulled me close.

So close we could kiss if we moved any further.

He said, " So you think you're so tall, huh?"

I responded shyly, "Haha yeah, whyyyyyy?"

"Because I'm taller than you.." He said while he stuck out his tongue.

After that, he still held me, but no words were spoken.

We just looked into each other's eyes and blushed.

*Back to the graduation part*

So whatever, we graduated yadayadayada.

But there was a secret that we shared.

There would be a limo on the way to the party, and only him and I knew about it.

He asked me to wait for him, while he stuffed his face with forest green colored cupcakes.

Like can you notttt? 😂😂😂

Anyways, with two cupcakes in his hand, I dragged him away from the diabetes - invoking table.

We stepped into the limousine and scooted all the way to the back.

"Oh my gawshhhhhhhhhhhh!" I screamed, as my friend Michaela made her way towards me.

She squeezed in between myself and John.

I saw another friend of mine come in that I hadn't seen in years, and I crab-scuttled over there; since I was wearing heels and the limousine was so small in height! 😂😂😂👏👏

John stayed back there, but it took FOREVER to leave.

All the parents were taking pictures and whatever. 😒

About thirty minutes later, the limousine started it's engine.

Whoops and cheers were heard all around.

The driver took the long way around the city so we could enjoy ourselves, but the downside was that the music couldn't be so loud.

Grumpy man.

When we were halfway there, we had FINALLY gotten the music set up.

We passed by a convention center with a beautiful ensemble of fountains in the front. We didn't get out at that venue, though. As we passed by there, the first song that came on when we got the music set up was Latch by Disclosure.

Memories flooded my mind once again.

The freaking class trip.

Tears started to form in my eyes, as I remembered the best trip in my life.

John saw me crying, and crab-scuttled towards the middle right side of the limo; where I was seated.

He sat directly in front of me, and laid his head back as I started fixing my hair to hide the fact that I was crying.

I looked at him, he looked at me.

We didn't word anything, but our expressions did it all.

His eyes were filled with lust and sadness, his bodily expression tired and burdened.

But deep under the aesthetics, I saw happiness inside.

A happiness that no one else saw.

When I looked at him, my stomach got butterflies.

When I thought of him, my heart would beat so hard it would hurt.

It was a good pain, though; the one that was lovely.

The one that was demanded to be felt.
