-----------------
I walk into the house, not really expecting anyone to be awake. I walk past the first floor living room, heading towards the stairs, when my thoughts are interrupted by a masculine voice.

"You're going to be in a lot of trouble you know."

I turned around, finding my 17 year old brother Arthur sitting on the couch, using his Mac, not even bothering to look up.
I actually forgot he wakes up early, but only because he goes to bed quite early.

"Did you forget what today is? You have a lot to do!" He said, reminding me of the tasks I had been putting off for the last minute.

"Fine, I'll do it all. Just cover for me; you'll forget this ever happened?" I asked, with a hint of desperation in my voice.

"Only if you delete those pictures you took of Kristen and I drinking and clubbing in Vegas. Dang, mom would kill me!"
He was a senior in high school, he had graduated the day before I did. I swear, he was perfect, in the most annoying way possible. All the girls envied Kristen, his extremely smart, and popular, yet wild cheerleader girlfriend. My brother was the captain of our football team, leading us to be the state champions. Did I also mention that he looked like Alex Pettyfer? With his shaggy, blonde, hair, his impeccable blue eyes, and his perfectly toned and chiseled features, even I would mistake my brother for Alex Pettyfer. Heck, people have even asked us for autographs and pictures.
I used to fancy him, but now- not so much. The fact that my once fetus Justin Bieber-looking brother has turned into a popular, fit, and attractive teenage boy with his own fan club scares me entirely.

"I will, promise." I responded, with a mischievous smile creeping onto my face. Oh my goodness, I basically have Arthur wrapped around my finger.
"Crossies," I silently whispered to myself as I headed up the stairs.

I took a shower, dried off, brushed my teeth, my hair, and changed into my business clothes, which consisted of a tight navy blue pencil skirt, a puffy, white business blouse, a navy blue coat, and heels.
I pulled my hair back into a ponytail, and demanded Arthur to drive me to the bank.

My parents wanted me to set up a debit card for myself, so I wouldn't lose my money bills, since they said that my mind was never in the right place.

After we got that done, we headed to Target to buy some essentials for the road trip later today. I needed to keep in mind that the bank teller told me that I had a limit of only spending up to 300 dollars a day. Psh... what? I never spend that much in a month!

The trip to Florida lasted a three day's drive, sometimes four.

I quickly grabbed some gum, headphones, new books: The Fault in Our Stars, and The Maze Runner series, sunglasses, a 50$ iTunes card, some Oreos, a pack of water bottles, and a couple of movies to entertain me.

After that, we made our way back to the house, and I started packing my clothes.

I hadn't gotten the chance to pack, what with being preoccupied with graduation and getting all of my final points of extra-credit in.

After getting all of my packing done, I quickly changed into some work out Capri leggings and a flattering, black, activewear tank top.

I leave my hair as-is, although I might undo it later. I tend to change hairstyles a lot during road trips because I get uncomfortable.

Sure enough, about a couple of hours later, Arthur and I were on the road in his black Ferrari with my parents and younger sister and brother in their white Escalade aside us.

I closed my eyes, laid my head back, put on my California hoodie, sunglasses, and pressed play, which brought on the song Radioactive by Marina and the Diamonds.

That song gives me power, I tell you. It makes me feeI like I can conquer the world.

Usually when I go on road trips, it gives me a lot of time to think. This time around, though, I just slept most of the way. I was drained in all aspects; emotionally, physically, and mentally.

-----------------
When I woke up, it dawned on me that I hadn't officially checked my phone since my birthday.

It was nighttime, and I loved these parts of the trip, because you just looked out of the windows and you just saw the pitch black sky with only the moon's light illuminating everything. So you see the silhouettes of the trees with the background of a deep purple, dark sky.

I love putting on techno and love songs when it's night, because you feel everything more.

As I was looking out of the window, I thought of Stefan and I.

That night, right before we fell asleep on the beach, he had asked me to be his girlfriend. I thought about when we were lying aside each other, with my head resting on his chest and his arms protectively surrounding me, he had asked me in a quiet whisper if I would like to be his girlfriend. Suddenly, all of my feelings for John vanished. Stefan was all that mattered to me, I loved him unconditionally. I only hope he loves me that way I do him.

After thinking about my special moments with Stefan, I finally checked my phone for a couple of minutes after my music had been done shuffling, when it was about midnight.

I replied to all of John's texts, with no (romantic intentions, but curteous ones) and thanked Lyla for introducing me to Stefan.

All of a sudden, none of the messages wanted to send.

I noticed that my LTE wasn't on, so I couldn't check reply to my whatsapp messages, which was where I texted the most.

I had only turned my phone onto airplane mode two hours ago, when I fell asleep. I had still received my messages before then.

The only messages I had received were the ones on text..

Stefan entered my thoughts once again, so I wondered if he had kept his promise about texting and snap chatting me and all.

I turned my LTE on and checked whatsapp, snapchat, facebook, all the social networks, and my text messages.

No sign of him anywhere, just one text message from him this morning saying, 'Hey, love. I'm at the airport. I'll text you when I land in New York, okay?'

I didn't answer, thinking he was still settling in.

Guess I'll have to text him later.

-----------------
Yoooo this is the author here!
So Stefan has already arrived in New York, but just as he was about to text Amber back when he was at the baggage claim, his mother and father appeared. Lyla and Gustav had visited their (or Gustav's, to be exact) favorite sister Mathilde and Leonard, Gustav's brother in law. Gustav and Lyla ask them if they could take Stefan to Texas for the grand opening of the exhibit. Mathilde and Leonard (Stefan's parents) allow Stefan to travel with them, but as soon as they land in Texas, they forgot that they had to register Stefan for boot camp in Glasgow(Scotland). Just like Amber's parents, they thought that he would end up like some delinquent. Stefan's older brother, Winston, had already messed up towards his adulthood, and they didn't want Stefan to end up like that. He didn't know that they would be at New York, but they beat Lyla, Gustav, and him there. Stefan was going to stay in a hotel room with Lyla and Gustav, but then his parents reserved the one right next to them, so Stefan could stay with the parents. Stefan honestly and totally forgot that he had to sign up for bootcamp. He said hi to his parents and gave them a nice, warm greeting. He has just told them about Amber being his girlfriend. Although he didn't expect them to come, they were supposed to stay in England the whole time. Why had they come?
Continue reading the story, and you'll find out. 😏
