"You scared me today, Mirio." Tamaki mumbled from the crook of Mirio's neck.

Mirio looked down at him, he hadent quite heard what Tamaki had said, "What was that?"

Tamaki grumbled softly and looked up at Mirio, "You acted extremely irrisponsible during training today." Tamaki elaborated, "I was worried you were going to hurt yourself."

Mirio looked down at his boyfriend with a confused look, he didn't quite understand what Tamaki ment by that. Mirio's look was a que to Tamaki that he needed to explain further.

"You just got your quirk back, hun." Tamaki said, taking Mirio's hand and rubbing his knuckles, "I'm just worried that you're not quite used to having it back yet." He admitted.

Mirio intertwined his fingers with Tamaki's, lovingly pushing a lock of his hair back, "Tamaki.." He twisted the lock of hair around his finger, "I know you're worried about me. But you have to understand that I've worked so hard to get my quirk back, I can't just pump the breaks now that I have it back." He kissed Tamaki's knuckle, "But, I don't want to make you sick with worry." He looked down, looking a bit sad for a moment. But, not a second later he looked back up, "So I'll cool it for a while."

Tamaki had immediately noticed the look, mentally kicking himself for making Mirio feel bad. He knew no other solution to Mirio's sadness than to kiss his cheek, "Mirio...I want you to use your quirk..I'm not saying you should stop...I just...don't want you to get hurt." Tamaki said, locking eyes with Mirio, "So, just be careful for me, okay?"

Mirio smiled, a genuine smile, he hadn't smiled genuinely for a while, he had been much too busy trying to regrasp his hold on his quirk.

This made Tamaki happy. It made him really really happy. He loved to see Mirio happy--genuinely happy.

Tamaki returned his smile, leaning in to kiss Mirio gently on the lips and returning to the crook of his neck, "I'm glad to see you smile again."

Mirio held Tamaki close, planting his head on Tamaki's shoulder, "I'm glad to have a reason to smile."

The two boys sat like that for a while longer, enjoying eachother's company.

Eventually, they both grew tired and decided to go to bed-- well they were already sitting on Mirio's bed--

Tamaki had already fallen asleep in Mirio's arms a while ago, he had been staying up pretty late recently due to stress, so no one could blame him for falling asleep in the comfort of his boyfriend's warm arms.

Mirio smiled, gently placing Tamaki down on the bed and walking over to his dresser. He grabbed a t-shirt and shorts for himself and a t-shirt for Tamaki.

Had he just wanted to see Tamaki wearing his shirt with no pants? Maybe.

Give him a break, Tamaki is gorgeous.

He threw on the shirt and shorts for himself and walked over to the bed, gently shaking Tamaki awake.

Tamaki tiredly looked up, "H-hm?" He mumbled, staring at Mirio with half-lidded eyes.

Mirio blushed softly and held the shirt out to Tamaki. They had been dating for a good three years, but Mirio had never tried anything like this, "You shouldn't sleep in the clothes you wore to school." Mirio said, "Put this on." He said, it was more of a suggestion than a request.

Tamaki sat up, yawning. He looked at the shirt and smiled, "So...what happened to the pair of pajamas I keep over here?"

Crap.

Tamaki caught on quicker than Mirio thought.

"I uh..I..well...you see I.." Mirio sputtered, blushing intensely. Tamaki giggled and took the shirt from Mirio.

"I get it." He said, unbuttoning his shirt and undoing his tie.

"Wh-wh well this is.." Mirio chuckled, flustered, "Pretty out of character."

Tamaki giggled, "I'm full of sur...prises..." Tamaki looked down, stopping.

"Huh?" Mirio said, "What's wrong?"

"My ties stuck." He said, his voice slightly whiny.

Uh oh. Mirio knew from experience that Tamaki got frustrated easily when tired.

"It's okay, I've got it." Mirio said, undoing Tamaki's tie--a thread had come lose and gotten stuck on the top button on his shirt.

"Dang it.." Tamaki whined, "I was trying to look cool."

Mirio stopped just as he was about to pull Tamaki's tie off. He snickered, "You're so cute."

Tamaki whined, tearing up, "You don't think I'm cool?"

Oh no.

Mirio gently pulled Tamaki's tie off, "What? Sunshine, you're the coolest person I know." Mirio said.

"You're lying! Your voice got higher." Tamaki whined, a tear falling from his eye.

"No mean it!" Mirio said, wiping the tear from Tamaki's cheek with his thumb. He gave Tamaki a sympathetic look, "You're really tired, aren't you?"

Tamaki sniffled, nodding.

Mirio smiled softly, "Let's get you to bed then." He said, pulling Tamaki's shirt off, "Arms up please." He said, holding the t-shirt up.

Tamaki tiredly put his arms up and Mirio quickly pulled the shirt over Tamaki's head as not to make Tamaki hold up his arms for too long.

Tamaki yawned again, pulling his pants off and lazily tossing them aside, then stretching his arms out for Mirio to pick him up.

Mirio did just that, taking Tamaki into his arms, kissing the bridge of Tamaki's nose.

He walked over to the edge of the head of the bed, gently setting Tamaki down and pulling the blankets over him, climbing into the bed next to him and cuddling up close to the already asleep Tamaki.

Mirio held onto Tamaki, snuggling into the crook of his neck, "I love you." He whispered. He knew Tamaki was asleep so he couldn't answer, but he also knew that Tamaki loved him back. And that's all he needed to know in order to peacefully close his eyes and drift off into sleep.
