Before going to home, he headed to the registration office.
"Excuse me, Mrs. Park?"
Lander knocked on the door and slowly entered the office. Mrs. Park is Lander's aunt, not an actual relative though. She used to work in his father's company as a secretary but Lander's father fired her for getting a file mixed up. The company lost one of their manufacturers due to the mishap. So, Mrs. Park looked for a more simple work like what she's doing right now. Mrs. Park treated Lander as a son. Lander's father still trust Mrs. Park but he thinks she couldn't handle the stress in their company, so they found a much pleasant job for her in Lander's school. Lander treated her as his aunt who's always looking out for him and keeping his father updated about his activities.
"Come in, Lander. What brings you here?" She said with a smile.
"Mrs. Park, I was wondering, could you tell me what's the name of a blonde girl in my year? She's a new student isn't she?"
Mrs. Park thought about it for a while then suddenly remembering the said girl.
"Oh! That girl. Yes, she is a new student, her name is Jessica. Why do you ask?"
"Uh-umm.. S-she dropped something. I have to return it. Could you give me her locker number?"
Lander never stutters when he's talking about someone. This is the first time. He hopes that Mrs.Park didn't notice his stuttering.
Mrs. Park looked at Lander skeptically then checked the student's registration form.
"Her locker number is 418. Near the Library. What did she dropped?"
"A notebook. I think it's her lecture notebook. I have to return it, right? She will need it."
Thank god, I didn't stutter this time. Lander thought.
"Oh most certainly. Go, now. She might be looking for it rght now."
"Thanks Mrs. Park." Lander walked towards the door. Paused for a while then looked back.
"Mrs. Park, I hope your family is doing good. I'll pay a visit to Michael when I have time."
"That would be great, dear." Mrs. Park smiled at him.
Lander left the office and went to Jessica's locker. What Mrs. Park didn't know is that Lander saw the lock combination written on Jessica's registration form. He shifted his head left and right to make sure so one was around then he enetered the combination and opened the locker.
Very organized. Oh! Who's this?
Lander saw a picture on the back of the locker door. It was the blonde girl hugging another girl who share a few similar features with the blonde girl.
Must be her sister.
A few minutes passed by and Lander was still looking at the things inside the locker. The only thing that knock him back to reality was a door being closed. Startled, he placed something that he has prepared on the way then left the scene like a thief being hunted down by police officers. He headed towards the parking lot of the school and got on his car (Chevrolet Camaro) then headed to his apartment.
When he reached his apartment, he didn't bother to eat dinner. It has been quite a long day for him. So he sleep as soon as he reached his bedroom.
