Jessica got up earlier than usual which surprised her younger sister, Krystal. Krystal knows that her sister is a sleepyhead. She also knows that her sister wakes up 30 minutes before the school's morning bell since their house is just a few blocks away from the school. She would just walk to get there. Krystal is really bewildered, almost amazed. Her sister could actually wake up early.

Jessica didn't know why but today seems like a very special day. She was feeling good right after she got up and got ready for school. It was definitely a good day.

'What's this I'm feeling today? I feel hyped and happy.' Jessica thought with a smile on her face.

"Are you sick, sis?"

Krystal was worried about her sister so she walked towards the living room, to the couch where Jessica is and frantically tried to check her temperature on her forhead.

"You don't have a fever. What's wrong?"

"I'm fine, Krys. Is it wrong to wake up for school?"

"I think it is when you wake up so early."

Okay, fine. Jessica admits that she's not herself today. She can't tell her little sister that. Knowing that her little sister is someone who over-react on almost everything. Also, because she want to know herself what is wrong with her today.

'Guess today is an adventure,' Jessica thought.

"How about you, Krys? What are you doing up so early? As far as I know your class starts at 8 am and it's only 5:30 am."

"We don't have classes today, sis."

Krystal casually went towards the kitchen to eat breakfast.

"How come? Oh, I made sandwiches earlier. You can have those."

Indeed, Krystal saw a plate with two tuna sandwiches on it. She grabbed one and ate it then headed to the living room.

"I think it's because of a student year below me who accidentally spilled some harmful acids during their Chemistry class that spread in the other rooms. They're still cleaning the rooms though."

"Yikes. I better get going though."

Jessica went to her room and changed into a pair of skinny jeans, a white v-neck shirt plus a black cardigan and she wore her black sneakers. She went downstairs and bid goodbye to her sister and got out of her house and off to school.

"Hi Jessie!"

A pair of crescent eyes met Jessica's. With those eyes was a beautiful smile that melts every guy's heart. Jessica responded with the same level of enthusiasm.

"Hi Tiff!!"

Tiffany was suprised that her bestfriend, the only girl she knows who hates waking up so early in the morning and gets really grumpy when someone disturbs her sleep, is actually hyped so early in the morning! Something is way off.

'Is this really Jessica? I'm not dreaming, right?' Tiffany thought.

"Okay.... What's wrong, Jessie?"

Jessica knew where this conversation was going. She replied softly.

"I'm fine, Tiff. Krystal asked me the same thing awhile ago. I mean, what's wrong?"

Jessica was really dumbfounded. What did she do wrong to have her sister and bestfriend doubt her.

"Well," Tiffany stated while tugging Jessica to enter the campus. Then, she continued. "It's not that it's wrong. It's just unusual I guess. Are you really sure that you're okay? Nothing's bugging you, is there?"

Their conversation got interrupted when somebody called Tiffany's name.

"Tiffany! We have an urgent meeting in our club. You coming?"

"Yeah, I'll join you in a sec."

Then she turned to Jessica and said.

"I'll see you later, okay?"

"Yeah, sure. Go."

To anybody who heard Jessica said that to them with her bored face and all would have probably get weirded out and back out slowly but Tiffany knows Jessica is just getting familiar with the school. I mean, this is just her 2nd day so of course there are still some thing she's not familiar with.

Tiffany followed her club mate and Jessica headed to her locker. She saw some girls running around, gossiping about someone named Dionne or something and his/her friends whoever that is. She reached her locker and entered the combination and opened it.

The first thing she noticed was the violet rose lying on top of her books. Beside it was a small note, Jessica picked it up and read it.

"Do you believe in love at first sight?"

Jessica was puzzled at the same time kind of frustrated that someone opened her locker. She decided to shrug off the second thought and focused on the rose. She glanced to her right and her left then at her back. Surely whoever placed the rose in her locker would look if she did see the rose but she didn't see anyone looking in her direction.

Jessica didn't know what to do so she decided to write a reply on the same note then grabbed her books for her classes and closed her locker then went to her first class.
