“James! Where are my glasses?” Jeremy’s voice roared through the silent morning at the hotel, causing my eyes to flutter open. I noticed the hand resting on my bum, and how my head raised and fell slightly as Richard breathed beneath me.

“What’s going on out there?” Richard mumbled, and tightened his arms around me slightly.

“I dunno..” I breathed, while drawing small circles on his bare chest, taking in the comfort and warmth.

“How should I bloody know, Clarkson? What should I use your stupid glasses for?” James yelled back, followed by some smacking doors.

“For crying out loud May, are you trying to wake up the whole entire village?”

“You’ve already woken them with all of your yelling!”

“For fucks sake James, I need my glasses!”

“Maybe Hammond has taken them.”

“Good luck finding him, he didn’t answer when I nearly knocked his door down.”

“Maybe he’s out for a run. Ask Karen, maybe she’s seen them.” James suggested, making me break through Richard’s embrace, and sit up in bed, starring frozen at the door. My heart started pounding as I heard the footsteps coming towards my door, and I didn’t unfreeze till I heard the knocks. I starred directly at Richard, who now sat up as well, looking me right in the eyes.

“They can’t find you here, certainly not like this.” I spoke in a low voice.

“Karen? Are you awake?” Jeremy asked through the door. I slipped out of bed, and grabbed a piece of clothing, which turned out to be Richard’s t-shirt, so I threw it his way, as I continued looking for something to cover me up.

“Of course I am, you guys make more noise than a pack of teen girls!” I yelled through the door to Jeremy.

“Karen..” Richard whispered softly behind me, carrying all of his clothes, as he gestured towards the bathroom, I nodded and watched him as he tiptoed into the room and closed the door behind him.

“Are you just going to leave me out here?” Jeremy asked, and I realised that he’d said something without me noticing.

“Of course not Jezza, just let me get some clothes on first.” I said as I jumped into a pair of shorts and reached out for a tank top in my luggage.

“Is that really necessary?” Jeremy asked jokingly.

“Disgusting old oaf.” Richard commented silently from the bathroom making me grin, as I reached the door, and stood face to face with Clarkson.

“To what do I owe the pleasure?” I teased and rested up against the doorframe, trying to block as much of the view to the room as I could, but seeing as I’m about the same height as Richard… well, let’s just say that I can’t cover much, luckily, he didn’t seem to notice how messy my room and especially my bed was, and if he did, he didn’t comment on it.

“I’ve apparently lost my glasses, have you seen them?”

“Nope, sadly I haven’t.”

“Hmm.. what about the Hamster? He seems to have gone missing too.”

“Jeremy, why on earth should I know where Hammond is? I’ve been asleep until you guys woke me up.”

“Sorry..” He mumbled and acted like he was embarrassed, tho he had a wide grin on his face. “-I’m going to leave you to it then.” He said and walked away. I shook my head, and closed the door, pressing my back up against it for e few seconds before I stepped out into the middle of the room.

“You can come out now, Rich, Hurricane Clarkson has passed.” I called out softly, scared that James or Jeremy might be nearby. A light chuckle came from behind the bathroom door.

“Hurricane Clarkson?” He repeated as he joined me on the bed, “I’ve got to remember that.” He said and bumped his shoulder playfully into mine.

“Hey, you can’t just steal my lines!” I exclaimed, placing my index finger just in the middle of his chest, before adding, “No matter how cute you are.”

He chuckled again, and looked down at the mattress, making his hair fall down in front of his eyes, and I suddenly realised how much it had grown over the course of the time we’d been here filming.

“I’ll try not to, tho it’s hard.. ‘Hurricane Clarkson’.. Man, that’s awesome, please let me borrow it.” He begged, and used his stupid puppy eyes, I giggled and shook my head.

“Nope, I’ll get it copyrighted if necessary.” I joked.

“If you do that, then you have to use it, at least once in every single episode.” Richard said,  with that stupid, charming smile playing on his face once again.

“Ok, you can borrow it.” I sighed, trying to hide the humour in my voice.

“Thanks, you’re an angel!” he yelled, and dragged me in for a tight hug.

“Really? I just sold you the best nickname ever, and I only get a hug?” I laughed, before he grabbed my face lightly and covered it in kisses, stopping when the tip of our noses touched.

His hand moved smoothly down along my jawline, and neck, before moving back up to my cheek.

“I love you, Karen.” He told me in a solid, warm and caring voice, a smile burning bright on his lips and his eyes melting me from within.

“I love you too, Richard.” I said, just before pulling him in, for a much needed kiss, before we went down and joined the others.
