"Its a brand new episode in your lives, children, in a few minutes you'll be meeting your new guardian, Dr Montgomery, also I informed him of your arrival, Luna and he couldn't wait to meet you" Mr.Poe told the children.

Since the play, Luna has being on edge, she constantly kept feeling like Olaf was right behind her, the feeling was unsettling and made Luna zone out sometimes in conversation.

"I'm beginning to think it was a mistake to listen to that oddly dressed consultants who walked into my office with no references and no identification, and who suggested that I placed the Baudelaires in Count Olaf's care" Mr.Poe went on, the children looked at each other "I can tell you, that I and the Baudelaires wholeheartedly agree" Luna informed Mr.Poe.

'your a disgrace to your profession' Sunny babbled, Luna thought the tiny Baudelaire couldn't be more right, but if it wasn't for his mistake, she would still be with that monster.

"My recently rehired secretary Jacqueline, is nervous that Count Olaf is still at large, but I don't think Count Olaf will be able to find you way out here, oh look there's an easy-to-read side for a lousy Lane"

Luna knew that Olaf would stop at nothing to get the Baudelaire fortune, he would go as far as killing someone, that made Luna scared, she had just opened her heart to three wonderful people, and she didn't want any of them to be taken away, most importantly Violet.

Both girls shared a connection, that neither of them wanted to stop, having Violet in her life made her feel more loved, and Luna wanted to hold ot that, for as long as she could.

"By the way, the police told me they feel very confident, that Count Olaf will be caught in no time at all, ah here's the turn"

Suddenly, everyone started coughing, Luna placed her hands on her mouth as she coughed up a storm, her face turned red and her eyes began to water, she had never smelt something so bitter and strong in her life.

"Luna, are you ok?" Violet asked worried, Luna looked at Violet through her tear filled eyes "yeah, its just that smell"

"W what is that smell?" Klaus asked

Mr.Poe coughed "its ginger I believe, we're here" he said through coughs.

They entered a beautiful garden, that had several reptiles carved out of hedges, Luna looked at the big house and instantly felt amazed, this place was way nicer then Count Olaf's by miles.

"How exactly is Dr Montgomery related to us?" Klaus asked looking out the window.

"Dr Montgomery is, let me see you're a late father's cousins wife's brother, that probably explains why you never met him" Mr.Poe said as they pulled up to the house.

The children got out of Mr.Poe's car and started to go to the door "What do we call him? He's not exactly our uncle" Violet asked

" you can call him Dr Montgomery, unless he asks you to call him by his first name, in which case you'll have your call him Montgomery"

"His name is Montgomery Montgomery?" Luna asked

"Yes yes, and I'm sure he's very sensitive about that so please don't ridicule him really cute needs tease"
