I sighed.
"Butch am I the villain here?"
"If I told you the truth you wouldn't like it."
In a word yes. Great.
"Are we villains?"
Silence. He actually looked perplexed.
"I know you were the villain in that situation."
"Yes, but I didn't mean to say it much less hurt him. It just slipped out."
I was on my feet now.
Butch stopped eating his.. MY cereal and looked at me.
"Are you having an epiphany?"
I don't know what that means.
"I... think so. Maybe... Is it bad?"
"I guess not."
He smiled irritatingly. He looked almost smug as he resumed eating my cereal.
