Meeting Father

The four of us ate breakfast, and afterward Leo went to help me pack my essentials.

"You want to take this old thing?" Leo held up a ragged stuffed wolf. It was given to me on my birthday when I was five. One of the only times I got to spend with all of my siblings together. I snatched it from him. "If you think you can meet Father the way you are now you must be mistaken. I even thought you thrown that thing out."

"Never!" I yelled at him. It seemed I startled him because he remained quiet. "Leo, I'm sorry for yelling." I looked down to show I meant what I said. He lifted me head with his hand.

"It's OK. I should apologize for saying that to you. I should know how much it means to you." He looked down and apologized to me.

"It's OK." I said. "Let's just finish."

We finished packing, and walked down to where Corrin and Xander were. Horses were set so we can ride to the castle. Gunter and Falicia, Corrin's retainers were already mounted on their horses. I spotted Jakob mounted too holding the reins to my horse. My horse was pure black except for the one hoof that was white. His name is Goliath. I mount my horse and Corrin rode with Gunter. Corrin never bothered to learn to ride a horse. Well more it's because I begged Xander so many times to teach me.

"We will arrive around the evening."  With that Xander lead the way.

Most of the time I rode next to Leo or Jakob. I know Corrin is my twin brother, but sometimes it just seems like there is a distance between us. I was always close with Leo out of all my siblings. When we did arrive at the castle it was evening. I guess it was. You could never tell in Nohr.

"Why don't we go to sleep for the night, and then the two of you can see Elise and Camilla tomorrow. I need to speak with Father about our arrival and your progress." Xander left to see father which left us with Leo.

"Come. I'll show you to your rooms." Leo said leaving our retainers with the horses.

We dropped Corrin off at his room first. Then Leo left me in my new room. It felt completely empty compared to my room at the fort. Then again I just got here. The castle has the same black walls and purple banners, but I'm finally free from that prison. I took off my armor and collapsed on the bed. Tomorrow I'll meet father. I wonder what he will think of me and Corrin. I kept thinking about what would happen if Father does not accept me. I fell asleep lost in my thoughts.

Morning

When morning rolled around Jakob was there to wake me, and help me prep for my meeting.

"My little sweet princess." The door of my room flew open.

"Hello Camilla." She came up and drew me into a hug I didn't want. I'm not really a hugger, but Camilla is. She's always so nice. She is always that protective mom character. "Is Elise around?"

"She wanted to she Corrin first. Sorry if that sounds like she doesn't love you like him." She pulled out of the hug, and had a sad look on her face.

"It's alright. It's not your fault. She always loved Corrin a bit more than me, because he would play with her." I never really liked to play that much when I was young. I just wanted Xander to help train so I could leave the fortress.

"Well then. Should we get going my dear." Camilla said as we started to walk out.

We walked over to where the throne room was. Xander and Leo were already there waiting. "Why are you always the first to come? Where's Corrin anyway?" Leo asked frustrated.

"You really think he is up. He never gets up properly. Leo, you should know how lazy he is in the morning." I replied.

"What was that about me?" We all turned to see Corrin coming down the hall with Elise.
