I suggest hearing the song after you read the chapter to understand this choice. Just listening to this song when I was writing this and thought it fits perfectly for the beginning part of the chapter.

The night before was relatively calm. Not every one could be there for dinner. Mother and Ryoma were busy for the festival. My younger brother Takumi did not want to eat. I have yet to formally meet him. The only ones that stayed was Hinoka, Sakura, and Azura. Corrin and Azura spoke a little that night. By the time we finished it was dark. I was learning where rooms were so I was able to make it to my room on my own. It was hard for me to fall asleep due to the fact to what happened to my right eye. I stayed awake till midnight. Compared to Nohr, Hoshido is peaceful. The night sky with the stars and the moon was beautiful. By the time I fell asleep I was woken up. It felt like I only slept for a few minutes.

"Kage, come. I want to show you something before we have to leave for the festival."

I think I was still out of it because of my answer. "Xander, a few more minutes."

"Now, now. I am not that Nohrian prince. I am your brother Ryoma, And no more sleep come." I sat up then realized what I just said. I apologized so many times and Ryoma just laughed. "Does my voice sound like him or is it you have forgotten?" I felt so embarrassed about calling him Xander. "Well no matter. Get dressed and come." He left the room so I can dress.

I walked out of the room to see him waiting. He grabbed my hand and led me outside to the archery zone. I looked at him wondering why we were here. Ryoma pointed to a young man close to my age shooting some arrows at a target. Something just clicked into my head when I saw him. Flashes of images like a mini movie went into my head. It was me and him together playing. Me holding a bow showing him the proper stance to stand in. Us snuggling together reading. Him helping me when I twisted my ankle in the woods. Us getting scolded for braking a vase, and many more adventures that led to trouble, but the last image was one that made me blush severely. He kissed me. He was my younger brother, but when I look at him that's not what I see.

"Takumi." I whispered but loud enough for Ryoma to hear me. "I remember him. I remember everything about him."

"You have your memory back?" I looked to face Ryoma and shook my head.

"I don't know why but it's just him."

"It was probably because you two were really close with each other. Let's say hello." He continued to pull me towards Takumi. "Takumi." Ryoma called out to catch his attention. He stopped shooting arrows and looked at Ryoma annoyed until his gaze fell on me. He dropped the practice bow he was holding and looked like he was going to cry, but he held it back. I smiled back at him remembering all the trouble we got into together. This time I was the one who broke down and ran for a hug. I clutch him hard. I finally remembered something. I continued to hug him. Clinging to the one thing I hoped would not escape from me.

"K- Kage? Is that really you?" His tone was so soft that it was barely even audible. I nodded lightly. He hugged me back trying to hold back the tears. "When they told me you and Corrin remember nothing."

I pulled away. "No don't think I would have forgotten you. Don't ever think that."

"I'll leave the two of you be. Don't be late to the festival." Ryoma said before departing.

The two of us sat in silence for a what seemed like the whole day speaking of the things we could do once the festival concluded. Later it was time to head into town for the festival.

"Here." Takumi reaches out his hand to help me up.

"Thanks." I took his hand and he lifted me up. "Do you think the others left already?"
