Title: Kisses

-

It all started accidentally. Paul was just so caught up in the emotion in the room that he couldn't help but lean in and place a kiss against John's lips.

It took a few days but eventually both the boys confusion settled down and they went back to normal.

~

Then Paul got sick. Whilst John was visiting, he thought it'd be funny to give his friend a peck on the lips..

There, now we're even, he had thought cheekily as Paul looked up at him bewiderdly.

~

The next time was when they'd finished writing their first song. Just as he was about to leave, Paul leant down and gave John a gentle kiss. He'd giggled as John lobbed a pillow at his face before leaving.

~

So it continued, everytime they were alone (and sometimes when they weren't), one of them would steal a kiss. It'd almost become a challenge after a while. Each time, the lads were more and more relaxed about being so intimate. It became part of their routine.

~

Eventually their mates began to notice too, George was first. He walked in on John snatching a kiss from Paul and watched as Paul hit him with his notebook, chuckling as he watched John cheer in celebration.

Then it was Stu, he'd been in the same room as them. Paul was curled up in Mimi's armchair, reading a book, and John had bent down to pick up the pen he'd dropped. On his way back up, Paul pecked him on the lips quickly before returning to his book. He only acknowledged John when the older lad complained loudly about how 'John hadn't got him in ages!' No explanation was offered to Stu, so he didn't question it.

Pete came last. It was in Hamburg, John was departing to go off with some bird he'd talked up, but before he left, he kissed Paul like he wasn't even thinking about it. Pete had looked aghastly at Paul, expecting some sort of reaction, but all he received was an amused shake of the head.

~

Even years later they didn't stop, Ringo had been subjected to the sight a few times in the first few months of being a 'Beatle' but when he asked George about it, he realised he wasn't going to get an answer.

"It's just John 'n' Paul, I'm afraid Rings. You don't question, you just accept."

~

Ringo gradually came to accept that fact, he realised nothing could stop these boys from their little game. No amount of exasperated sighs from the lads or noises of surprise from Brian. Not even their own wives prevented them from being John 'n' Paul.

It was always those two.

John and Paul.

The Nerk Twins.

Mclennon.

~~

Well, I've been updating loads recently, I hope you like this one. I didn't really spent much time on it but it's an idea. I plan to continue the 'McHarrison' series soon, so don't lost hope, thanks for reading and I hope you have a great day today (or tomorrow if it's night for you)
