Sophia stared at me with an ominous look. I noticed that she now has a staff with her, which proves she must've gotten stronger than she was in our last encounter. She is unaware of my ability to use aura, so I'll use that to my advantage.

A ball of crimson energy shot towards me and I dodged to the left and began to charge at her. Her eyes slightly widened at the sight of my increased speed, but she quickly returned to normal and started to lift sand up from the ground.

She sent out aura to the sand and they quickly hardened. Another rock attack like last time? It seems she hasn't really changed. She shot the rocks at me but I dove underneath them just in time.

She shot another ball of energy at me, but this time I wasn't able to react, so I was pushed backwards.

"You may have gotten quicker on your feet, but you aren't even close to being fast enough to attack me. It's too bad you can't use aura silly girl" Sophia said as she charged up another attack.

I quickly got up and began to run towards her left as she charged up her attack. As I quickly approached, she shot another ball of energy at me, but this time, I used a technique Gideon taught me and blocked the ball with my aura enhanced sword. I pushed my sword forward and the ball of energy repelled off my sword back to Sophia. She moved over and easily dodged it.

I could feel and see her aura thickening as she began to rapidly fire energy balls towards me. I was easily able to repel them with my sword, because there wasn't as much power behind these orbs as the other. As I continued to run towards her while slashing at the orbs, a rock hit my ankle and I fell over.

Sophia then lifted up more sand and sculpted them into spears.

I quickly rolled over and sent an energy slash in the direction of Sophia while two of the spears cut my left arm.

The players were going wild. They slowly started to chant Sophia's name as I stood up and prepared to launch another attack.

"Silly girl, you're as good as mine now!" Krueger said while he stroked his dirty brown beard.

Now that Sophia is aware that I can use aura, I can now play exactly how I wanted to since the start.

I slashed two times and formed 2 lines of energy that looked like an X, and slashed once more shortly after.

Sophia struggled to dodge the first attack, and the second one blew her backwards. Before she could react, I quickly enhanced my body with aura charged forward, and slashed at Sophia with all my might. Her left thigh was cut and she fell over.

Before I could attack again, two men grabbed both of my arms. "SOPHIA, ATTACK HER NOW!" Krueger screamed at the top of his lungs. Sophia stood up, and when I turned around I saw Damian try to rush to my aid, only to be clashed with by Krueger himself.

Sophia's aura began to rage as she charged up her energy. I'm sure even someone without the ability to use aura would've been able to feel the amount of energy being gathered by Sophia, but before she could fire the attack, an arrow engulfed with blue aura slammed into Sophia's staff and it fell over.

The two men who were holding me let go of me at the sight of the girl who stood before them. It was a short girl around my height, standing there silently with a bow in her hand, while blue aura flowed from her body.

"A-Are you alright?" She asked me while slowly walking forward.

I nodded and turned around to look at Krueger.

"Alright alright, weapons away. It seems we have been greeted by the lovely Lily." Krueger announced as he sheathed his sword.

"Ah Lily baby, I'm so glad to see you once again. Would you like to join my guild please? We could use another beautiful and powerful girl in our guild."

Lily stared silently while she slowly put her head down. Her cheeks turned red and she looked right back up at Krueger. "S-Stop preying on girls!" Lily said quietly.

"What was that? You're still a shy little brat? You should've stayed with me at the beginning of the game and became one of my special maids. I know a way to make you talk louder every night baby." Krueger said creepily as the rest of the guild laughed.

"That's no way to treat a woman. Women are not objects, they are beautiful sentient beings that deserve nothing less than the world, and I would gladly die for one." Gideon said while unsheathing his sword.

"Oh great, a white knight. How about you get outta here you stupid fat kid before I really do make you die for a woman." Krueger threatened.

The low ranks of the guild began to unsheathe their swords and walk towards us slowly. Damian jumped next to me and prepared to fight, but before they could attack, green light flashed and we teleported to a large tent next to a cave in the desert.

"I-I had to teleport us away from there, because there was no w-way we could win." Lily explained as she kicked the sand.

The boys and I stared in awe. How could someone so timid be so powerful? Just who did we end up running into? The sun began to set and she entered the cave without saying a word. It's only one day into this journey, and things are already looking crazy. There's no way it could get any worse, right?
