After my walk, I went to Starbucks to get something to eat. I was quite tired, and hungry so I kind of needed this.
"Hello, how may I help you?" the worker asked. He seemed tired and as if he didn't want to be here.
I told him my order. He asked for my name, and I told him 'Ashton'.
Even though I'm pretty sure I told him Ashton, he some how, I guess, thought I said 'Ashley'... Bad day?
I take my coffee, and take it back to the park. I really needed to be outside for a while. I missed Rachael more, though. I forced myself to stay seated, instead of going back to the stuffy hospital.
I sat there got a while, until I saw Rachael's parents coming out of the hospital. They were... crying. I quickly stand and run across the street to see them.
"Are you guys okay?" I ask quickly getting slightly nervous.
"Oh, the boys didn't tell you?" Jane asks me.
"Tell me what?" I ask.
They look anywhere but me and I began to get impatient.
"Tell me, please," I say as calmly as possible.
"Well, the doctors aren't sure Rachael will make it," she says.
I look at them for a long time. Before I know it, I'm running into the hospital. I take the stairs to her floor and run to her room. Doctors are in there, so I knock as hard as possible. The turn to look at me.
One doctor comes over to me and opens the door.
"Hello, you must be Ashton?" I nod, trying to look at what the doctors are doing to Rachael.
"Well, we are still going to try, but for now we aren't sure she'll make it," the doctor repeats Jane's words.
"No," I say quietly. I began to feel dizzy. Just as I'm about to fall, I feel multiple hands grab my arms.
"He found out," I hear Calum say. That is the last thing I hear before everything goes black.

I wake up to a bright light in my face. I blink and shade my eyes with my hands."He's up," I hear people sigh in relief.
I hear people crying, by the whimpers I can tell its Calum, Michael, and Luke. I stand quickly which makes me dizzy again. After I'm not as dizzy, I get up and walk out of the room. I look at where I am and realise that her room is only one room to the left.
I quickly go to her room and notice that she isn't there anymore.
"No, no, no!" I run through the whole hospital looking for a doctor. I finally find one.
"Where is Rachael?" I ask looking him in his eyes.
"She- she's, um," he looks nervous. I step back. "She's in critical condition, so she is upstairs in room 417-"
I run up the stairs and look for 417.
414.
415.
416.
417.
I walk in and see no one else but my beautiful girlfriend.
I walk to the seat next to her and sit.
"I'm so sorry I let this happen," I cry, getting as close to her as possible.
There was a note left on her bed. I quickly get it and read it:
Dear those who this regards to,
We are not sure if Rachael will make it. If it is possible, you can write her a note that will be put with her if we lay her to rest. When you are finished with the note, you can put it in the drawer next to her bed. Thank you.
I start crying even more. I was the last one to find out. I get up and walk over to the dresser. I get the letters that are already in there. The one on top is from Michael. I grab all the letters and sit back down. I take look at Michael's first. It takes me a few minutes to have the energy to read, but finally I choose to read it.
