Things I've Left Unsaid

Music in our souls

Those songs remind me of you,

The ones we used to sing along to.

I play them and keep them on repeat,

Just so I can feel them along my heartbeat.

They say music keeps us calm,

They don't do much to you.

I say they bring back memories,

And feelings left behind too.

Plugged in the earphone and got lost in our own world,

Didn't care about the passers-by.

Our earphones stretching as we distant,

But that's not what our hearts want, why?

We walked together for years,

Never seemed to stop.

But when it was time,

Our tunes had drop.

And now when I play those songs again,

They remind me of you.

Those days we spent together,

Just like the earphones would do.

I know we are somewhere deep down connected,

But none of us see it.

Just visualize our life in the future,

I can hear our laughs in it.
