Please read

Fuck it, this is old - and embarrassing. I won't fix it or change anything so please if possible just ignore any grammar/spelling mistakes and keep in mind this was written in the span of a year - with that comes improvement and better writing in general. My writing style changes more or less every chapter. And if you could, like, it's hella embarrassing at times having to reply to comments about my mistakes ( even though I don't mind it on other stuff ) so please just try to not hahaha. also, Vincent was removed  halfway throughout this story and replaced with a character named Adam (sorry for the confusion )

Darryl and zak are also not in any way similar to themself.

Third-person pov

The sound of his alarm clock woke the teen up. He grunted as he turned, he attempted to grab his phone but instead, he showed the object of the nightstand.

The sound of his phone and the floor meeting, combined with the awful sound of his alarm made the teens morning even more awful than it already was. He sighed, mentally screaming fuck off to everything, before pulling his covers off and sitting up.

"What a way to start a good day," he said sarcastically as he swung his feet over the side of the bed, grabbing his phone, before then standing up. He looked down at his phone and turned it on. The light from the now lit up screen stung his eyes, taking a few seconds to blink he looked down again, turning off the alarm that was still ringing.

Sighing in relief when it tuned off he looked at the time that said 7:02 am, which made sense since his alarm was set for 7 am. Turning the phone off he turned to his window, which was covered by a curtain, he reached over and tugged it to the side, revealing the slightly lit up sky showing just a few stars, but two stood out, still shining bright making the teen's lip curve upwards, though sadness and hurt were visible behind the slight smile on his face.

"good morning mom and dad" he whispered as he turned away. He looked down at his lamp which stood on top of his nightstand, turning it on making him blink a few times, adjusting to the light again.

Walking over to his dresser, he picked out his clothing for the day, which was a brown turtleneck, black mom-jeans, white Nike socks, a brown belt, and his mother's necklace. putting it on he grabbed his phone which he had to lay down as he picked out clothes, and put it in his pocket.

He took one deep breath before walking over to his bedroom door, opening it he stepped out into the dark hallway that had the doors to his and his brother's bedroom and the bathroom that they shared.

Walking over to his brother's door, he knocked before taking the handle and pushed the door open, it not going far as the clothes on the other side stopped it. The teen sighed before squeezing himself through the small opening, begin met by a messy and dark-room.

Knowing the room he walked over to the covered window, tugging the curtain, letting the slightly more lit sky light up the room. He turned around, feeling his stomach drop at the sight of his brother laying beside his bed, a beer bottle still in his hand.

Rushing over to him, he turned his brother so he laid on his side, calling his name a few times without an answer so he started tapping his face with his hand, getting a grunt in response making the teen feel relief wash over him. Knowing that his brother was alive he took the half-empty bottle out of his brother's hand, putting it on the floor.

The teen put the older into a sitting position, before calling his name a little louder than then other times, finally waking him up.
