Me and Isacc spit-up because his classes are on the other side of the building. Walking up to the main entrance a hand-spun me around, and before I could even see who it was, a bag was put in my arms. "you seriously need to check your phone in the morning zak" a tick French accent said making both of the sides of my mouth curve upwards, knowing well who was talking.

Looking at the familiar face of my best friend Vincent as a smirk appeared on his face. "Anyways how's your summer been idiot," he said turning me towards the school entrance as he walked to my side, hand still on my shoulder. "we literally talked yesterday I-, " I responded looking at him as the stupid smirk of his got bigger. "that was still a da-," he started but got cut off by the ringing of the school clocks.

Me and him both shared a look of realization that we were going to be late. "we need to get our schedules dude" Vincent said moving his hand from my shoulder to my arm, grabbing it as he started running into the school, kicking the doors open in the process.

He dropped my arm and continued over to the front desk. I looked around, the school looked the same as last year and the year before, the people that were still in the hallways also looked the same. Turning back to Vincent he had started running back with two papers in his hand.

He stopped in front of me grabbing my hand before tugging me to the stairs leading up to the second floor. " dude I don't even know-" I started but got by Vincent as we started running up the stairs. " I already looked at it and we have English, then math, lunch and then I don't know cause I didn't look that far. But we have the classes together, like always"

I smiled knowing the principal still remembered my brothers request. As we reached the second floor Vincent dragged me to the right past lockers until we reached the last door in the hallway. As Vincent went to grab the door handle I pulled him back. I can't do this, my head repeated, as my anxiety got worse by the minute.

Vincent immediately pulled me into a hug and started rubbing my back, cause he knew actually what was going on in my head. " it's okay Zak, you're okay. I'll talk to the teacher okay?. I know this is rough and if you need me to call Issac I'll do it okay? I'm so proud of you Zak you don't even know" he said pulling slowly away, his eyes meeting mine showing worry and love. " I love you, you got this Zak" he said smiling. I returned a small smile, taking a deep breath, before nodding.

Vincent smiled even bigger and turned to the entrance, putting his hand on the handle. As he opened the door all eyes were on us and I felt the anxiety getting worse than before, having all eyes on me and Vincent. The last one to look at us was the teacher, looking disappointed at us being late. "you guys are late" she said folding her arms over her chest. " I know, we're really sorry. We got lost" Vincent said giving the teacher an apologetic smile.

The teacher seemed to have realized who I was and her expression turned from angry and disappointed to and more apologetic one. " I'll let it slide this once but only this one time boys," she said turning back towards the rest of the class.

Vincent looked down at me, the same loving smile still on his face before he grabbed my arm and started walking to the back of the classroom where there were two empty desks waiting for us. putting our bags on the chair before sitting down, Vincent gave me my schedule.

After a long hour of English, we had math for one hour, which was hell. I always seem to forget everything I've learned over the summer, so starting on highschool math problems when you can't even remember anything you learned before the summer and anything before that, was absolutely hell.

When the bell finally ringed I let my head drop into my arms that laid on the desk, ready to have my head lay as comfortable as possible on them. Looking to my left I saw that Vincent had done the same. He turned his head towards me, now having both of us look at each other. " I can't remember anything I've learned, ever," I said staring blankly into his eyes. " one word. Same" Vincent responded making both of us chuckle.

After a few seconds of laying still, we both sat up and put our stuff in our bags, before standing up. I stretched my back as Vincent pushed our chairs in. I looked around and saw the last few people still in the classroom leave out the door to go to lunch. My stomach turned at the thought of so many people in one place, what if I fall? What if I run into somebody and start a scene? What if, what if I have a panic attack?.. Being completely in my thoughts I didn't realize Vincent was calling my name until he waved his hand in front of my face.

"Sorry I was just thinking," I said looking at him, he looked worried because I always space out when I am overthinking or having anxiety, which can turn into an anxiety attack or panic attack. "stop looking so concerned Vincent, I'm fine," I said but he didn't seem convinced at my words. " I mean it, I'm alright, really, " I smiled making him sigh before saying a short okay.

"We need to get down to the cafeteria," he said turning towards the door. I agreed, making both of us walk out of our classroom, into the hallway with still a few people in it. Neither of us paying any attention to them as we walked past. We continued down the stairs, into the hallway leading to the cafeteria.

When we reached the doors, Vincent looked at me looking for any signs that we should turn around and go eat in the library instead of the cafeteria. Even though I was freaking out on the inside, my head telling me to run, run away from something that possibility could or was gonna happen in there, I gave him my best smile which seemed to have worked because he grabbed my arm and started walking into the field of situations that was bound to happen someday.

Vincent dragged me to one of the empty tables in the back, stopping me right in front of it and walking behind me to grab the bag of food he brought out of my bag. When he returned beside me I was about to sit down when arms folded themselves around my upper body, pulling me into the chest of the person. I stiffened but soon relaxed when I smelled my dad's perfume, meaning the person hugging me was my brother.

"how were the first classes?" he asked moving away from me to only turn me around, pulling me into a hug as soon as I was facing him. I laid my head on his chest before answering. "amazing! it's not like I can't remember a god damn fuck of the torture so-called math " getting more than 2 chuckles in response I snapped my head up in the detection of the chuckles that weren't Vincent or Issac. My eyes widened at the sight of three people I didn't recognize.

My brother seemed to have seen my reaction and started introducing me to them, but my eyes were glued to one of them, and he seemed to have the same problem. "oh I forgot to introduce you guys, the one standing to the right is Tyler, the one In the middle is Michael and the one to the left is Darryl. Guys this Is my brother, Zak"
