The snow fell around the par, the cold air reddening their already flustered cheeks. The kiss was magical, and both boys could agree on that.

They both pulled back at the same time, though staying close. Zak smiled up at Darryl, Darryl returning the smile back at the younger. Nothing could ruin this moment for them.

Zak couldn't help but start laughing, at what? Who knows. Darryl looked confused down at zak but didn't question, he only joined in laughing with the other.

The snow falling was so big, the ground was quickly being cover by the white coldness. It was beautiful. Winter was finally here.

The two laughed, oh they laughed. Strangers walking their dog stopped to look at the two, some smiling at the young par, though others looked away with disgust, but the two were too caught up in each other to notice.

The two ended up laying in the thin layer of snow after a while, the laughter had died down but leaving the two smiling like no tomorrow.

The light from a light pole nearby lit up the snowflakes as they fell down at the boys, this is what zak had been waiting on for months, both the snow and the person holding his hand.

Zak turned his head to Darryl, the elder had his eyes closed, a few snowflakes had gotten caught in his eyelashes, the younger started in awe, how could a person be this beautiful?

Darryl must have sensed the eyes on him and open his eyes to look at zak, he saw the looks awe in the younger eyes and wondered what had been looking at.

" what's up?" Darryl asked, a faint smile tugged on his lips. Zak snapped back from his state of awe and felt embarrassment rose up at him being caught starting, "eh.. you?"

Zak felt a rush of boldness and decided to just tell the truth, " snowflakes were getting caught in your eyelashes, it was pretty"

The elder couldn't help but to bring the younger into a hug, which resulted in them rolling around in the snow, laughing like a new couple who still hadn't had any stupid fight about which chips were better, or what movie was best.

A couple, Darryl realised he haven't asked the question yet, they had just known each other for a certain amount of time, but his mother always told him, if it felt right time doesn't matter. So he pulled back from the embrace of the younger.

Darryl had both hands on each side of Zaks's head, looking down at him. He leaned down and connected their lips once more, he put as much passion he could in the kiss, and zak felt that.

The kiss felt almost better than their first one, it had more emotion.

Darryl pulled back, their foreheads still touching though. He took a deep breath and opened his eyes, it was now or never.

" I know we haven't known each other for super long, but these few months have made it feel like we've known each other for years. I like you so much and I wouldn't love to have it any other way, so, would you be my boyfriend?"

Zak smiled up at Darryl before dragging the elder by the hoodie down to meet his lips once more, " of course I would" zak said pulling away.

The new couple couldn't stop smiling when they made their way back to Darryls car, there was already so much snow making each step crunch beneath them.

Their cheeks had reddened from the coldness, snow had cached itself in both their heads of hair. They hands linked as they swung them between them, Zak was happy, Darryl was happy.

Darryl unlocked his car and made sure to open the front passenger side door for zak and closing it when the younger was inside before getting in the driver seat himself.
