DAVE'S POV
''I've been thinking about you all night Mel, I've been thinking about you every single day since the day you came to our house to give us that cheesecake. I wanted to do this since the first day i saw you. I won't hold it in anymore. I have fallen in love with you Mel, i love you so fucking much that i got jealous yesterday and i overreacted. I'm so sorry Mel.'' I said after ending our kiss. She just stood there, confused.
''I... I don't know what to say, i mean i know what to say . I came to tell you that i was sorry too but i .... I can't do this Dave. You can't do this. You can't fall in love with me Dave''
''Its a little too late for that Mel, I already did.'' I told her in a low tone, my mind was already tuned to the fact that she doesn't feel the same for me. Yet, she kissed me back
''No its not Dave, don't fall in love with me.'' She said arguing with me
''Why shouldn't i?'' I asked curiously
''Because I... I don't.
''You don't what Mel? Feel the same? Huh? If you don't feel the same why did you kiss me back??''
'' I don't know.'' She said slowly lifting her head up to look at me straight in the eyes.
''But what i do know is that I'm still in love with Alec''
''What?!!'' I asked confused
''I still love Alec. I guess i never stopped loving him and what he said last night ... I'm ready to forgive him and start again.'' I can't believe she was still looking at me
'' you can't do that Mel.'' I said angrily yet heartbroken
'' why can't i?''
''Because he hurt you. Someone that loves you can never hurt you'' I continued arguing even though i knew she meant what she said.
''He said it himself, it was the only way that he could make me notice him. I pushed him away Dave. Its time to fix things. I want us to go back to how we were'' she said turning and opening the door.
''What about me ?'' I said hopelessly
