"I cannot wait to make fun of these guys." April guffaws.

Currently, we are all getting changed into our cheer practice clothes. The locker room is filled with sounds of laughter and excitement as everyone chatters about what's about to go down.

Today is the day that we begin teaching the football team the half time dance for the Homecoming Game.

And basically, we're all pumped to see the guys look ridiculous as they attempt to dance.

"We at least get to pick our partners, right?" Valerie, one of my bases, shouts above all the noise. I really like Valerie. She's a sweet girl with gorgeous raven hair.

"No, the guys get to pick. That's what Ashley said at the last practice." Abigail shouts back. Abigail is a great girl and everything but she's also a know it all. She means well, but she also happens to annoy a lot of people. It's not really the things she says, but the way she says it. She just has this nasally, kinda whiny voice.

"Well I wasn't there, I had my wisdom teeth out. Remember?" Valerie shouts back. Abigail doesn't see it but I don't fail to catch the annoyed look that Valerie throws her. An amused smile tugs at my lips and as if sensing my gaze, Valerie shifts hers gaze to meet mine. She rolls her eyes at me, annoyance towards Abigail, before we both burst into giggles.

Valerie shuts her gym locker before making her way over to me and the girls. She sits on the bench with me as I'm lacing up my shoes.

"Speaking of wisdom teeth, how are you feeling?" I study her face. Her cheeks still look a tad bit swollen but it's hardly noticeable. A stranger on the street wouldn't know any different.

"Well I was feeling great until I had to see Abigail's face today for the first time in almost a week." She grumbles. Valerie is the sweetest, most genuine girl that I know but for some reason her and Abigail just do not get along well. The only time I hear her talking about someone negatively is when she's talking about Abigail.

I shake my head at her in amusement as Peyton and April snicker from beside me. Not many people know about Valerie and Abigail's feud. I'm not even sure if Abigail knows that they have an ongoing feud. Mainly because Abigail has a feud with most people. She's just not the nicest person around.

"So how was your girls' weekends?" And she's back to her chirpy self.

"Wyatt and I went to the movies. We saw that new Ryan Gosling movie. You guys need to see it." Peyton sweeps her hair up into a ponytail as she chatters to us.

"Oh yeah, I heard that it's getting good ratings. I might have to go see it this weekend." Valerie says.

I throw a loose gray tank top on over my black sports bra and spandex and then begin to put my hair up into a ponytail with my cheer bow.

As the girls chatter on about how hot Ryan Gosling is, we begin to make our way to the one of the dance rooms where we will be practicing with the football team.

Coach Ashley is over talking with the football coaches, probably going over schedules & the basic just of everything.
