"Exactly WHO are we meeting again?"

Athena rolled her eyes. Fastening her steps as she walked towards the portal she had constructed under her castle grounds.

It was the only way to Hell without the requirement of dying and her father had made sure he had it built for her to travel back and fort as she pleased. - Though he had no real need of it since he could pop in and out of any place.

Furthermore, it was designed to work only with either her father's magic or hers. Nobody else's.

"If I recall correctly, my King. Yesterday you claimed to know all about me during your speech. And my origins have never been a secret. All my people know who I am and what I am capable of. So why all this bewilderment all of a sudden?"

"Yes, well I.. I admit I may have exaggerated just for the purpose of convincing you. I, of course, had my own suspicions. I have never underestimated you, Athena. I know you wield strong powers. As you may know, the Light people don't really concern themselves with your gossips. Nobody is actually aware of the extent of your magic. If they are not ready to hear that I am half dragon, then they surely are not ready to hear that you're the daughter of THE Hades and THE Sekhmet. And also the fact that you will be soon their Queen. "

"You know, King Alec. Sometimes, I wonder if being light really means being on the good side. Shouldn't your people be accepting of anyone? You are all honed to be good for goodness' sake. Your DNA is mushy, soft... Boring.." Queen Athena could not help but wonder. Her kingdom, although mainly dark, did have its light part. For instance, healing was a light power, so HealthCare was managed by them. And she was not ashamed to admit they were the best in what they did. She did no tolerate any form of discrimination. Whoever breached her rules would have to face consequences. And the Dark Queen was not known for being merciful.

"Careful, Queen Athena. You are talking about my people."

"Feeling touchy, My King? Sore spot, huh?"

The portal was a mirror that occupied the entire wall of the palace basement. But it was just for show- courtesy of her ever so subtle father.

The only functional part was hidden to the eye and only she knew where to put her hands to make it work.
She went straight for it as she reached behind her to grab Alec's wrist.

"I wonder, King Alec. Are YOU ready to take the Darkest soul to your bed?" She whispered at his ear, standing on her toes to brush a feathered kiss against his cheek.

She chuckled at his sharp intake of breath and felt his pulse racing under her fingers.

Mmm, his skin was so warm and tempting.

"My My..." she mused "The good Light King has it hard for the evil, doesn't he?"

She stumbled forward, all but forgetting about the portal, as he strongly pulled on her hand.

He held onto her tiny waist and pushed his chest against hers. The groan he emitted had her legs shaking in anticipation.

She would have fallen if he hadn't been holding her so firmly. After all, she was very much shorter than he was. She did not even know if she was still standing on her toes or if he was simply holding all of her weight with one hand.

"You, My Queen, will find it surprising how the boring Light King throughly enjoys what lies beyond the dark line."

Her skin set on fire as he adjusted her silver locks behind her neck and painstakingly slow ran his lips over her sensitive skin.

Gods, as harsh as he looked, his mouth was a softeness to die for.

She found herself unable to stop her hand as it traveled up behind his head to grab his hair as a soft moan escaped her lips.
