(Just a heads up their might be like three or more chapters due to the fact I'm going to try to add some of Ricky's pov or just a third person pov. Also that is the dress I imagined her wearing with of course shorts underneath it and white shoes.)

Putting on a fake smile I walk down the stairs to meet my mom in the car for the next court case. I didn't really get much sleep last night thinking about Ricky. I had finally taken off the ring and placed it back in the box with the ring that was meant for Ricky. I was thinking of giving them to a couple that are truly in love with each other. What if I'm right? What if Ricky still loves her? Then I was just a replacement until he found the right words to tell her and win her back all over again. I had woken up with a big headache and dark circles underneath my eyes. I was so happy and excited about the competition yet Ricky kept going through my head. Every time I close my eyes I would see him or even if I did get to sleep my dream would just be a flashback of the things we did together.

I was now sitting in front of everyone ready to answer questions. "How is your relationship with your parents?" I took a minute to look at my mom and then my dad. "Me and my mom get so along well. I don't really have much of a relationship with my dad." The person that was asking me questions looked confused. "My dad walked out of my life when I was twelve after that I haven't really known much about him until recently."

"Did you know he has a wife and a daughter." I shook my head looking down at my hands. "He only told me he had a girlfriend but he never told me he got married again. I found out about his daughter a few days ago when he told me to meet him for coffee and he didn't show up. I thought something might have happened to him but when I went to go see him he was with his wife and his daughter laughing." My mother was looking at me with sadness in her eyes. She could see right through me right now. "Tell me would you like to live with your father?" Wiping away some tears that rolled down my cheeks I looked at my dad. "No. I'm very happy living with my mom. My whole life is here in Utah."

"What do you think about your mom's new boyfriend?" I look at Beck who gives me a small smile. "I think he's great. These couple of days that I've gotten to know him he's treated me like his own daughter. And I see the way he looks at my mom. The smile that he can bring on her face is enough to make me happy and he is such a loving caring man." My dad looked mad that he was losing the case but I was happy. "Now tell me about your mother." I smile just looking at her.

"She's an incredible woman. With my father leaving she worked hard and made sure I had the best education, more importantly dinner at the table. Yes she does work but once I get home from school she's there with her glasses and staring at her laptop. But the best thing is she already has food cooked and waits for me to get home so we can eat as a family. My mom isn't only my mom she's my best friend, a sister I never had and a person I can just talk to. I appreciate everything she does for me. So when my mom comes home tired from work and has to do work at home. There's times where she falls asleep in bed while she's doing paperwork. I go to her room, pick up everything and tuck her into bed just like she used to do when my dad left us."
