April 11th, 2021...Why? Why the hell is it always her!?
Frantically I look around till me eyes land on the gun and trial up to see who's holding it
"Why!?" I shout holding my dying girlfriend in my arms
"You were supposed to stay mine!" She argues
I gasp tearfully "She didn't do anything to you!"
I fall to the ground holding Mandi to me not listening to anyone around me.
"Mandi please" I beg
Every time she tries to talk she chokes on blood
"Justin. Justin!"
"What!?"
"Let your father check her" Mom says tearfully
I carry her inside and lay her on the couch. Dad rushes over with his medical bag and instantly gets to work
"Becks get Rolland on the phone immediately and tell him to get here to do an at home surgery then call an ambulance" Dad orders
"What are you doing?" I ask
"I'm making sure her airways aren't blocked but we might have to take the bullet out here"
I grab Mandi's hand kissing it repeatedly.
"The ambulance is here!" Holly comes running in
"Alright then Becca tell him to meet us there! Justin and Alex carefully lift her onto the floor so they can get the backboard in"
Everything starts going so fast, people everywhere, people crying, Jessica getting arrested. And I'm frozen, I just found out I'm having a son and I might lose him and his mother today.
This is exactly what I was afraid of but this time, no one will be coming back.
Suddenly I remember that Jessica's three kids are here and start looking around for them but they're no one to be found. I rush out into the back yard and find them all hidden under a table
"Guys! Come here loves" I tell them
All three jump from under the table hugging me tightly
"Why did mama do that?" Stephanie asks
"I don't know sweetie" I tell her
"Justin!" Jenn calls
"Jenn! Take them and get them somewhere safe please"
She nods taking the kids but Ben didn't wanna leave me
"It's okay, I'll come get you soon" I tell him
