September 28th, 2021...I am so glad Mandi woke up. Even thought it took her a while, I'm glad she came back to me. I honestly don't think I would've been able to hold myself together after losing her.
She's the thing that keeps us all going, the light that surrounds her lights every room and everyone feels a million times happier with her around. My father smiles more at work, my mother has a million new recipes she's been trying out on everyone and surprisingly Mandi is I love with them all.
I don't know if it her pregnancy hormones or the fact that she isn't worrying about being the perfect event planner but Mandi will eat anything nowadays.
Anything accept hospital food.
Which is why I've now walked in on her scarfing down what I'm assuming is a bowl of soup with fresh baked bread like she hasn't eaten in months but I know how much my peanut loves food.
Today I'm taking her home finally, our boy came home about a week ago and it's been hectic having him and all the kids solo. Sure Bailey and Will have been a huge help but they both have work and Bails has started taking a few more college courses.
Those two left last night for their month in paradise and I cried for about an hour after they left cause my little girl is all grown up. Sure I've got at least three more girls to pass off and I can surely tell you I'll cry at every single one of my daughters' weddings.
I'm not ready for them to grow up!
"Hey!" Mandi beams
"Hi baby" I chuckle
"Did you send her off?" She asks
I nod sitting down
"Uh-oh"
"What?"
"What's with that face?" She asks
"I cried for hours" I sigh
She pouts
"Justin she's coming back, she's literally gonna be living on the same property" She chuckles
