‹‹ Two Years Later ››
July 14th, 2024...Oh my god! I'm getting married today! I've spent the last three years a nine months planning this wedding and it's finally here.
I'm freaking out!
If one thing goes wrong today, I might just lose my mind. With wedding should've happened two years ago but we've had everything from Holly's first heartbreak to battling Noah and Ben's health problems standing in our way.
That said, let's do a two year catch up on everyone...
Starting with myself and Justin, we're doing great! We had a little hurdle when I thought he was cheating with one of the maids but that was quickly debunked and I found out he was really planning this huge vacation for my birthday.
Oops
Since the birth of Noah, Justin has really taken a step back from his job to help me out around the house. It took a while and I'm still not 100% better when it comes to my back but I'm coping and I'm able to be on my feet more.
I've completely pulled away from event planning unless it's and event here in Philly because I just don't like being away from my kids who have become my life.
First up is Bailey who is striving as a housewife. After she had the baby,--who turned out to be a little girl Amara Syke—she realized that being a full time mom and wife is what she really wants. She'll always have her law degree to fall back on but it just didn't make her happy anymore.
Next is Holly who for the last two years has been away at college. Things between her and Beth didn't work out and that was the hardest thing to get her through but we managed and now she's off pursuing her dream in Paris but she'll be here today.
After her comes Benjamin who has turned into Justin's mini-me. He's twelve now and just finished his first year of middle school and boy has he changed from that shy little kid who was abused and neglected to a little social butterfly with a talent in any sport you throw at him and he makes Justin very very proud but he is the biggest mama's boy ever.
Behind him, we have Melanie who is now nine and will be entering fifth grade, I can't even think about her graduating. She's my little woman I call her because she's nine going on thirty. She's the mother hen and she's hilarious. I've gotten calls from the school about how much she corrects her teachers and I give her points because I used to do the same thing and so did Rebecca.
She's thriving and I can already tell she's gonna go into fashion when she gets older.
Next is the little princess Stephanie, she's six now and I can't keep up with her, she talks a mile a minute and she's so smart that even with a degree you feel stupid.
She's still attached to mine and Justin's hips and that's why she is currently home-schooled. We've been trying to get her to go to school or daycare but she just screams till they call us to come pick her up.
