-A/N-
We don't know pain until it hits us. We don't know how we will feel when special people leave our lives until they do. And by then its too late to say 'don't go'.
Nothing can prepare you for heartbreak, there's no handbook.
I've broken down so many times. But its all my fault. I deserve the pain that is piercing my heart...-

Chapter 5

*Jacob's POV*

He was hurt and something was wrong. I'm not stupid. I don't know why he wouldn't tell me, I protect him at school with my gang.

I needed a cigarette...

"Oi Jacob, come on!" Bowan yelled back at me as he piggy backed Bethany through the school.

I smiled and ran to catch up to them on our way to the second story of the school.

By the time we got up there with Bethany and Bowman taking forever to get up the stairs, the bell went making us all groan with annoyance.

Maths and Geography were the worst subjects. Actually all subjects are crap. If I had to pick one that I looked it would have to be art because I could draw skulls, demons, smokers and basically anything without getting into too much trouble.

I have painted graffiti on the side of the school many times so I'm sure they would rather me do my 'disturbing' art on a canvas or drawing book.

As I walked through the corridors, I looked at the other students as they past. Most of them looked away from me, because of my looks and reputation.
They all have a story.. I thought to myself. They all have their own demons. Whether it be their parents, their friends or the demons that live inside their heads.
They all have their own problems, heartbreaks and breakdowns. I don't get why others want to add to them.

"Once a day-dreamer, always a day-dreamer." I heard a voice say, breaking my chain of thought.

It was my principle.

"Haven't you got class Mr. Danzer." He said raising an eyebrow at me and crossing his arms.
-A/N-
Jacob's last name is Danzer haha.-

Mr. Bowman was a tall buff man. More like a security guard than a principle. He had black and gray hair and was nicknamed 'Walnut' because of his hard outer shell and his boring, plain insides.

"I'm on my way there now." I replied.

"Hmm...make sure you get there then." And then he walked off.
