Centuries ago, there was a young man who worked as a fisherman. He took to the coasts every day to catch fish that he will bring back home and sell.
One fateful night, he heard a voice from the ocean's of Seongsan-ri. It was the melodious voice of a maiden.
The maiden lured the young man and pulled him into the water only to find out that she had been lured to him.
The siren decided to bring the young man back to shore.
And with him, his net and plenty of catch.
The young man became lucky which gave him such wealth as the Sea-nymph watched him smile day by day during his voyages.
The man became greedy and was blinded. He's forgotten about the ocean and married.
Upon hearing the news, the siren became heartbroken and cursed the young man.
With her own words she spoke:

Jin opens his eyes, he fixes his hair. It's already 10 am in the morning.
He pushes himself up off the bed and walks to the kitchen where his mother and his father is.
" You're awfully late" Jin's father exclaimed while sipping on his morning coffee while he sits and reads the newspapers.
" Dad, ever heard of news feeds? Geez, newspapers are lame." Jin uttered back to his old man.
"Hey!" Jin's father says.
"Jin, watch your mouth! It's still too early for this bickering." Jin's mother said while flipping the eggs.
"Is Jisoo up?"
"She's early today, she went to the beach."
Jisoo is Jin's twin sister. Apparently they were born around the same time at midnight, while Jin is the elder twin. Both were born the opposite genders.
His mother works as a jeweler and his father a well-respected fisherman who always gets the biggest catch. Because of their successful business of catching fish, Jin also became his father's successor to become a good fisherman himself.
But Jin didn't like that idea, he doesn't want to work with smelly fish.
He makes his way into the door, grabbing a piece of toast and running to the beach to meet his sister.
" Come on! Come on! Tail come out! Come out!" Jisoo murmured to her feet in the water.
