Soft music plays in the background as I dance around the kitchen preparing me and Freddy's dinner. My feet push off the floor, and I float, spinning in a circle. I probably look like a lunatic, dancing while chopping the vegetables and taking our casserole out of the oven. But I'm not gonna lie, I love making food and dancing to music, I can't help myself. And the fact that the food smells pretty damn good doesn't help either.
"Well hello gorgeous." Freddy's voice comes from my left, meaning he's standing by the oven where I just put the freshly baked lasagna. I stop spinning and face my handsome boyfriend, who is wearing nothing but grey sweats. And they themselves hang dangerously low on his hips, one wrong movement and he'd probably be exposed, even just by a little bit. I bite my lip and try to fight off the blush that's creeping it's way up my neck. "Smells delicious." He smirks.
The guy knows damn well that he's hot, and he knows that I can't resist him. I don't think any sane woman would be able to say no to him. My eyes roam across his chest briefly before I look up into his eyes. "What did I say about getting dressed Freddy." I mumble, taking the knife in my hand and pointing it at him.
Freddy instantly holds up his hands. "I'm just trying to give the chef a compliment, and all I get as a thank you is a killing device waved in my face." His eyes dance with amusement as he takes a step closer to me. I keep the knife pointed at him, even though I know I should put it down. But my mind seems to occupied with staring at him in all his glory rather than the apparent danger of stabbing him with a knife.
Damn what is wrong with me
"You're distracting me, I told you not to." Freddy just smirks again at my statement, and takes another step closer to me. "Freddy." I saw, trying to warn him. But he just smiles calmly and takes the knife from my hand, placing it down on the counter. My gaze follows his movements, so I'm surprised when his lips press against mine in a passionate kiss.
"Much better." Freddy mutters, his breath brushing against my lips. "There won't be any death tonight." He grins, all too happy with himself.
I huff my annoyance and slip out of his arms, walking towards the stove where our dinner is sitting. "There won't be any death by stabbing you mean, but there might just be a death. Luckily, you'll be sent to heaven with my food and not to hell." I give him a wink before setting the lasagna down into the table next to the salad. "Dig in."
Freddy lets out a hearty laugh and plops down onto a chair, his eyes devouring every inch of food. He practically has drool dripping out of his mouth. "This is going to be the best lasagna I've ever had." I roll my eyes.
"Sure it is." I smile, sitting down beside him. "Its a little burnt around the edges because you were distracting me."
Freddy waggles his eyebrows at me as he scoops a gigantic portion of meat, noodles and sauce onto his plate. I seriously don't understand how he can fit that much food into his stomach. "The burnt part is the best part." He tells me, taking a bite. A small groan comes from his throat, and I can't help but giggle.
"I'm glad you're enjoying it."
"I always enjoy your food." He says, shovelling another bite into his mouth. "And I already know what I'm having for desert." Freddy looks up at me, his eyes darkening. My stomach flips and My breath hitches. I know exactly what he means, and god damn it makes me want to just skip dinner and go straight to desert.
"Just shut up and eat Freddy." I manage to choke out, my cheeks probably cherry red by now. Freddy takes in my state and gives me a smug smile.
"Oh, I'll eat alright." He winks.
Oh my god, what is this man doing to me.
