I was in my room frantically searching for a phone

I was in my room frantically searching for a phone. I felt like I needed the doctor. My stomach  was really killing me right now. I had been up almost all night.

I stepped out of my room while clutching my stomach tightly. As I walked along the path, I heard another door open and within a couple of seconds I was face to face with Felix. "Where are you goin-" he tried to ask but I groaned involuntarily.

"Follow me" he said taking my wrist and pulling me away. Soon we were in some sort of medical room where he gave me a pill and water. "Take this" he said and I did as I was told. When I was done, I watched him watching me. "Why did you lie?" He asked again.

I sighed, "I didn't . It started just now" I said and looked away. The room was very similar to the room in a hospital with a bed in the middle and drawers to the side filled with medical things.  While I was examining the place, I didn't realize that I was being addressed.

"Jennie " he said snapping his fingers in front of my face. "Yes?" I asked confused. "I said, you can go now" he said and I nodded, getting up but before leaving he addressed me again.

"If you try to escape again, there will be consiquences. Every possible exit is heavily guarded and there are cameras everywhere. Just try, I dare you" he said intimidatingly making me frown . I was caught. Clearly I am not going to be able leave any time soon.

I got into bed straight after arriving back in my room. It was nearly morning and I would have to get some sleep sooner or later. I wanted it to be sooner. It took a bit of time but after a while, I was asleep until the door opened with a loud noise.

I couldn't open my eyes though cause I was so tired so I kept sleeping,  hoping that this was nothing important. Someone cleared their throat causing me to hiss. "Ma'am, Mr Pierce's mother will be here today, I was told to inform you" it was obviously a worker because Felix would never address me as Ma'am.

"Mhmmm" I said and tried to go back to sleep. But this guy was persistently trying to wake me up. "Fine, there. Happy? I'm up!" I said exasperated. Gosh, how late had I slept. "Sorry , I'm leaving now" he apologised and walked out.

I went to take a bath and nearly fell in the bath tub because of how tired I was. I wore a black lace dress and sat down for a minute on the bed but before I realised it, I had fallen asleep.

The door opened abruptly and due to shock, I woke up with a jolt. I was wide eyed and staring at the person. "Oh so you're awake? Why didnt you come down for breakfast!" He said clearly furious. I stood up looking for a good excuse.

"Were you not told, because if that's so, I can easily just fire him!" He aksed impatiently.

"No, no. He told me but I......I'm -" he cut me off annoyed. "Just follow me. Now!" He said and I did as I was told. I would have felt bad if I knew he was so angry.

When I got down I was greeted by the sight of a woman. She had light brown hair and pretty blue eyes. She really looked like Felix.

"Mother" he called for her. "This is my fiancèe, Jennie," he said and I walked up to her.

I was just about to shake her hand but she clicked her tongue in a dismissive manner and I jerked my hand away. What was her problem? Was it because I was late?  Either way, I was happy. If she didn't like me then Felix wouldn't have to get married to me.

So thank you, ma'am. "Um....hello, " I said and smiled at her. She turned away from me and to her son. "Felix, how long have you even known her?" She asked and I sat down. "For the right amount of time, mom. Now if you will -" she cut him off.

"The right time, of course, you would say that" she mumbled. "Felix, take me to the office today. I would like to see how everything is there" she said walking up to him. At least she would be off my back. "Actually, I am going for a lunch meeting so you will just have to stay" he answered and started to walk away before his mother could intervene.

And now.......I was stuck with her.
