He kissed me again. He was getting better every time. He pulled away and looked me in the eyes.
"Convincing?" He asked
I nodded still shocked about how quickly he learned how to kiss. All of the memories of us began to flood back. The first time I actually fell for Riley was in 7th grade when he kissed me for a drama scene. But this was different he didn't have to kiss me for a grade. And the fact that he kept trying to perfect it made it seem like he actually cared, even though I was just a cover up. Riley hugged me which kinda of surprised me, I was waiting for another kiss.
"Thanks for everything." Riley said still hugging me tight.
I hugged him back. He made me feel safe and I loved that feeling.
"I don't know what I would do with put you Riley." I said.
He let go of me grasping my shoulders in the process. He looked me in the eyes again. But this time it was different. It wasn't the 'best friend' gaze.. It was more of the 'I like you' type of look. He let of my shoulders and looked down at the couch. He rested his hand on my upper thigh. Riley bit his lip, his eyes met mine.
"Remember how I was saying I might have been in a funk?" Riley said
I nodded.
"Yeah.. What about it?" I asked
Riley paused building the anticipation.
"Well.." Riley started. "I'm not sure about the anymore.
