A daughter's hatred {Waterloo road}

Fifteen

It had been a few days since Charley had found out about Tom having sex with Hannah. He was hurt that she had said she wouldn't ever forgive him. He couldn't lose her or their baby. He wasn't going to let it happen.

When he went into work, he saw Hannah sitting outside. He walked over to her. "Has Charley said anything?" He asked.

Hannah shook her head. "She hasn't told my mum yet. I think she's waiting to see if you mess up again."

Tom nodded and sighed. "Maybe you should think about going back to your other mum? You've caused a lot of trouble here and some of it can't be forgiven."

"It wasn't me though. I didn't do anything. You're the one who had sex with me," Hannah said.

Tom sighed again. "You led me on Hannah. You were upset and you came onto me."

Tom saw Charley in her classroom. She looked up and glared. "Get the hell away from me. Before I murder you," she said.

"Charley. Please. You have to understand. It didn't mean anything. Hannah doesn't mean anything to me," Tom said in an attempt to get her to listen. It wasn't working. "Please."

"Get out Tom. I can't even look at you."

Tom didn't move. He looked at Charley. "I'm not letting you throw away what we have because of your sister."

Charley glared at him. "You had sex with her! She's the vulnerable one in all of this. She's the one who's messed up and you took advantage of her. I can't forgive you and I won't forgive you. Now piss off."

Charley was walking through the school. She saw Hannah sitting outside on her own. She felt bad for her sister knowing she hadn't settled in at school and she had no one to talk to. Charley walked out to her. "Hey babes, you okay?" She asked.

"No. I hate it here. I don't feel welcome. No one talks to me. I have no one. I shouldn't have come here," Hannah said as she broke down crying.

Charley felt so bad for her. She pulled her into a hug. "It's all going to be okay you know babes. I know you feel like it won't get better, but it will. It really will and I think that you just have to give it time."

Hannah wiped away her tears. She looked at Charley. "If I tell you something, promise you won't tell Tom or mum."

"I promise."

Hannah took out a pregnancy test and handed it to Charley. "It's Tom's," she mumbled. She saw the look on Charley's face. "I'm not keeping it. Don't worry."

Charley said nothing. She didn't know how to process the news. Charley took Hannah's hand. "You are not to blame for any of this. I promise. It's Tom's fault and he won't get away with it."

Charley stormed inside. She was fuming and she wanted payback. Charley Mason was going to make Tom pay for what he had done to Hannah. But would she regret doing it?
