Oh. My. Fuck.
I thought I was hallucinating just now. Why the fuck is he in Florida?
Lord, on everything that is holy please don't let us have a second crossing because I don't know how long I can hold out on this façade of not knowing him or playing the role of someone else when I know perfectly well that I am not who I say I am.
"Petra, can I borrow your phone please? Can you call my dad?"
"Hello?" he answered
"Appa?"
(Dad?)
"Hey, sweetie. Why are you calling me on this phone?"
"I was in a car accident. My phone was damaged so I borrowed Petra's own"
"What! Sweetie, are you okay? What happened?"
"I'm fine, dad. He ran the light and hit my car. The left side needs repairing and some of my stuff got damaged."
"Who's the bastard? What's his license plate number?" he started yelling.
"Its fine, dad. His wife was in labor and that's why he was seeping." I lied. No way am telling him I had a run into with Alesso. He'll put me on house arrest again.
"Oh. Okay. Are you heading back home?" he asked
"No, dad. I'm heading to work still."
"I'm fine and I can handle working today." I added before he disagreed.
"Okay, sweetie. Have a great day and please be careful."
"Bye, dad. Love you."
When I hung up, we were already at the restaurant. When I entered, I came face to face with two problems.
First, it seems my new waitress wasn't informed of the rules before she decided to dress like this is a bar and not a restaurant.
Second was the argument that was happening between two customers. One was a woman in her forties who was dressed classy and sophisticated. The other woman was in her early thirties that was dressed very comfortable.
"What's going on here?" I inquired.
"Bos-" Andre, one of the waiters started but I held my finger to my lips to stop that word from escaping.
"This does not include you little girl. Low income persons have no saying in this matter. Unless you own this restaurant, I suggest you be quiet and mind your own business!" the older one spat.
"Ma'am that is no-" Andre was about to interrupt but I cut him off.
"Lady, I am asking you nicely here so before you make me lose my patience and let a screw loose tell me why you're interrupting the restaurant."
"I am trying to eat and her child just keeps making noise and it's irritating and uncomfortable. I want her gone or else you can all kiss your jobs good bye!" she hissed at us.
"Oho! Who are you to have the power over our jobs? I have never seen someone as haughty as you."
She opened her mouth to answer me but Lina cut her off.
"I came after her to get something to eat with my two kids and the waiter led me to the seat next to her. As soon as we sat down she was looking at me like some kind of insect and kept scrunching up her face. You know Emilia has Autism so she started getting a little fussy after a while. Before I could even reach over to comfort her, the crazy woman started yelling all of a sudden."
