"Let me get her for you"

She smiled in triumph as she thought that she won this argument already while Lina started secretly smiling.

I walked to the podium at the entrance, picked up my name tag and walked back to her smiling.

"Hello, my name is Lusanna Acel. I am the sole owner of 16Handles restaurant and as I have said before, I would like you to leave my building."

My workers and Lina started laughing loudly at the look of shock on her face. Even some of the diners found it amusing.

"We do not tolerate such rude, unpleasant and disgraceful behavior at this restaurant. You have no sense of proper upbringing and have no respect for those around you. For that, you have been banned from my restaurant. Any attempts to come back will be seen as trespassing and I will have you arrested for it. Leave before I have security throw you out." I told her.

"My husband will hear about this. Do you know Price Industry? You people are done!" she yelled at us.

Oh my. Such as bad move you did there. Why give me the name of your company. Even worse to use as a threat. You are either stupid or tired of living the good life. There are a lot of people looking on. We could have handled this quietly but the little bitch didn't want to.

I took out my phone and dialed my brother's number.

"Talk to me. Who offended you this time." he answered on the third ring.

"Code 5"

"What's the name of the company?" he asked

"Price Industry"

"Give me 5 minutes."

Code 5 is a cover we use when I need to get rid of a company. Henry knows I don't do something without reason. Point Hill Corporation is the cover for our business but it's a billion dollar fortune that has shares in almost every company you can think of.

"We have 90%. Why are you getting rid of them?" he asked suspiciously.

"Why you always got to assume I did something." I laughed

I turned to Ms. PriceIndustry here and I smiled in her face.

"Cut it. I want her to feel what it's like to live as a low standard she likes to say."

"Roger that. I'm hanging up."

When I came off the phone I walked up to her and leaned close to her face.

"Maybe you should call your hubby and ask him if everything is alright with his big shot company. I don't know where you got the confidence to assume that a small fry like you could be brazen to this extent."

This was this look of horror on her face that I found satisfaction in.

"If you were a regular customer, you would know that Mrs. Gale is the extremely doted on wife of the bank on Louis Street that holds account of some of the richest people in this country. That seat you were eating is especially reserved for her but my guess is that the new waitress wasn't informed. Andre tried to correct the error but you were relentless in not moving"

I laughed at her eyes that started glistening.

"Eliza, the special aids infant is claustrophobic so the light that streams through the rainbow colored glass helps to distract her but since you took the seat she had nothing to help her which is why she was fussy but you didn't care about that. Pity, but this isn't a 'Customers are always right' kind of restaurant" I pouted at her.

I straightened my back so I was in front of her.

"The clothes you are wearing was designed by the woman you so ceremoniously insulted her and her child by calling her retarded. Because you are so self-centered about being rich, you couldn't see that not all rich people dress the way you do. I have said what was need to be said. You have about a week to find a new shareholder before you go bankrupt."

I gestured to the door.

"Go on." I smiled professionally at her.

She high tailed out the building without a word, probably thinking how she going to break it to her husband that they about to be broke.

"I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused. Your meals that have been order thus far will be on the restaurant. Please enjoy your meal."

They was clapping and cheering before everyone went back to their seats to enjoy their meals.

"You good, Lina?" I asked her.

"Yeah, I had her. My earrings were halfway off and I was just waiting to sock the bitch. Don't hear me sweetie." she said while covering her son's ears.

"Your ass is crazy. Got to get to work." I laughed as I waved her off.

After becoming a regular at the restaurant. She became somewhat of a friend to me and to the staff.

People think that just because this is a five star hotel only the rich come to dine. Wrong. There are five floors for a reason. Our prices are reasonable and if they come up short on the bill, we help them out.

Walking in to the staff area, I stopped and turned to watch them.

"Now, why is the new girl dressed like she just came from her side job as a stripper?"

They all looked at each other before they burst out laughing while her face turned red from embarrassment.

"Hi. My name is Natasha. I started yesterday" she reached out her hand for a shake.

"Well Natasha, why did you alter the uniform. It's long for a reason. You can't clean and wash the dishes with such short clothes."

"I came here to work as a chef, not to clean. It's bad enough I have to be a waitress as well." she mumbled under her breath. It's too bad I heard her.

"Sweetie, you don't seem to realize that this is no ordinary restaurant. Every single person that worked here has a degree or a certificate that shows there qualifications to be a chef. We have a chart in place that informs us of which days we are on cooking duty, waitress and waiter duty, podium duty, counter duty, bar duty, restaurant cleaning duty and dish duty." I smiled warmly at her.

"In this room, we are family and we are one. At the end of the end we help and we learn from each other because that is the type of restaurant we are. Now, you have two options. You can either leave to find a restaurant that you only have to cook at or you can adapt to the rules here. So, what's the call?"

"I'm sorry for my behavior earlier." she apologized.

"Apology accepted. Go to the store room and get a new uniform." I nodded at her.

"Boss, Andre and Bilanca are on counter duty. You and Natasha are on waitress duty." Tia who was on podium duty informed me to which I nodded.

"Let's get to work guys" I yelled before clapping twice.

Ten minutes later I had changed into my uniform, wrapped my hair in a bun and headed out to start the day.

"Table 26 is ready to order" Tia informed me as I got my pen and pad from her. I just nodded before heading to the table.

I am almost to the table when I halt my steps and stare the table, flabbergasted.

"You have got to be kidding me." I mumbled as I resumed walking to the table.

"Hello, Lusanna. What a coincidence" he smiled at me.

"Coincidence? I'm sure it was." I smiled back at him.
