❅❅Elsa

The clicks and clacks of Lady Solar's heels echoed through the hallway. Lady Solar was fast on her feet, smiling brightly like the sun. Well, she is the sun and Guardian of Life. Her golden blonde hair flowed down her shoulders to her back. Her skin was sun-kissed, brightening her golden brown eyes. Lady Solar walked up to one of the knights, "Excuse me, dear. Do you know where my daughter is?"

The knight nodded, "She's in the library. The maid is bringing her some snacks. She stayed in there all night, your majesty." Lady Solar smiled and walked to the library.

She walked up to the door, hearing her daughter's voice, "Thank you, Gerda. I'm totally famished." The maid smiled and bowed. Once she left, Lady Solar walked into the room. Her daughter, Elsa, was climbing up the ladder, grabbing a new novel. She turned to see her mother smiling with her arms open, "Mother!"

Elsa ran to her mother and hugged her tightly. Lady Solar smiled, "Good morning, Elsa. How are you today?"

"Oh I'm wonderful, mother. Did you know that salamanders' tongues can reached up to 10 times as long as their bodies. Oh, and the name Salamander comes from the Greek word for Fire Lizard. Back then, when the Greeks grabbed wood for fire, salamanders would come running out of the logs they had been hiding, when those fires where lit," Lady Solar chuckles at her daughter's discovery.

"Really? I did not know that, my starlight." Elsa chuckles at the nickname. When she was born, her mother and father has called her Starlight. There was the moon and sun in sky and the stars were left. Although they were only shown at night, it fit perfectly well. Elsa was more like her father. Her icy blue eyes reflected his and so did her skin. It was pale, but shown more on the pink side, like her mother. But her hair was in between the two parents. She had long platinum blonde hair, always in a loose braid. Not too blonde, like her mother's, and not too white, like her father's.

The princess smiled brightly, "You look happy, mother."

Lady Solar nodded, "I am, Starlight. I have a surprise for you." Elsa sat down on one of the many cushions. The library was basically Elsa's room. Cushions lied on the floor, so did piles and piles of books. Elsa loved her sanctuary. Ever since she was little, the princess was immediately put through her studies. She's always been reading and studying. It might sound awful, but she used books as a form of entertainment. Besides, she was able to practice and learn new magic.

Yes, Elsa has magic, just like her parents. She could practice different kinds of magic, just like her father: earth, wind, water, fire, etc. But her main was ice and snow. Elsa was born to be an ice wielder, and she loved it. The way every snowflake was their own design, the way frost dances across any surface, and the way you could form snow into any figure of shape you could dream of. It gave her a sense of pride and confidence. She was the wielder and maker, so she can make what ever she wants.

"What is it mother? Is a new book?! That would be wonderful for my collection..."

Lady Solar shook her head, "No, your father is giving you a mission."

Elsa groaned. Missions were not her favorite. It usually involved going to meetings or talking to the Zodiacs. Some of the Zodiacs were fine, however some were just plain boring or down right perverted. Elsa sighed, "Mother, please don't make me go. I'll do anything, just please don't make me go."

Lady Solar laughed, "It's nothing that will bore you, Starlight. It's a long mission. We don't know when you'll come back, but involves a lot of time, patience, and....... fun."

Elsa furrowed her brow, "Fun? Where am I going?"

"Earth...." Elsa stared at her mother. E-earth..... Elsa process the information Lady Solar gave. Elsa looked up to her mother and squealed. I'm going to Earth!!!! After 224 years!!! Elsa was beyond excited. Ever since her 5th birthday, Elsa has been fascinated by Earth and the things in it.
