❅❅Jack
"WAKE UP, YOUNGLIN'! It's time for tinkering!" North's jolly, BOOMING voice, echoed throughout Jack's room. The young guardian groaned and flopped out of bed, "Today is the day where we have some fun!" Jack blankly brushed his teeth as North kept going on and on. The toll of flying was hitting him hard today. Tooth wasn't kidding. Of course, Jack ignored Tooth's warning.
Jack slumped into the kitchen, watching Elsa cook some omelets, "What's for breakfast, m'lady?"
"Jack, you look horrible." Elsa plopped Jack's omelet on his plate and rung out a wet cloth, "Did you take that ibuprofen last night like Tooth said?" Shit, I forgot. Jack slowly shook his head, "You reckless guardian. It's like I'm your mother or something." Jack nervously smiled at Elsa. She rolled her eyes and grabbed him some medicine, "Take this and eat please."
"Yes, ma'am."
Jack was quietly eating when North came crashing in, "Jackson, were you even listening to me?" He shook his head as he gobbled up some more omelet. North sighed, "We're making dagger's today."
Jack's body perked up. Yes, finally something new! He quickly ate his food and ran off, "Thanks for the food, ace!" He followed North to his office. The place was filled with ice and moving figures. Jack was in awe. The sight was perfect and magical.
"Come. Sit by me." Jack sat down on the stool, North patted on. "If there was one thing that I remember about Nightlight was his staff. You see Nightlight was able to create a staff with a dagger on the end of it. I helped him perfect his staff. And that is what I'm going to teach you. This process will take longer, but if you focus really good, you'll be done at the end of the day."
"The end of the day! That's 20+ hours, North."
North chuckled, "I never said it was going to be easy, no?" Jack sighed, "That's my boy! Now, create a block of ice for me." Jack flicked his hand, creating a thick block of ice. North nodded his head and grabbed some tools, "No cheating. I want you to hand carve your blade. BEGIN!" Jack didn't know a thing about carving, but he went with his gut. If Nightlight has done it before, then I can do it. The first thing that came to mind was drawing it. Jack asked for a piece of paper and a pencil.
Before Jack turned into a Guardian, he noticed he had a talent for drawing. Art just came natural to him. He would grab a piece of paper and a pencil, drawing figures skating on the ice or children throwing snowballs. It was quite time consuming, but it was fun and relaxing. Elsa noticed this when he was drawing her on a piece of paper. He was quite embarrassed w\hen she found his drawing on the desk, but she was more interested in his artwork. So, he kept on drawing. Just random shit like a vase with flowers, a bookshelf, or her.
Shit. I need to focus. As soon as he was given his utensils, Jack got to work. His dagger was going to be thin, but sharp. He drew in streaks of frost to add his own signature style. Once North approved his drawing, Jack carved out out his dagger. But, when he got to the tip, it shattered.
"Dammit! Fifth time in a row." North chuckled, "What am I doing wrong, North?"
North patted his belly, "Maybe you're using the wrong material?"
"How do I know what material Nightlight used?"
North chuckled, "We do have a Nightlight expert under our roof, no?" Jack smiled. Elsa, of course! Jack thanked North and zoomed to the library. He stopped at the door and peeked through. Let's scare, Blondie. Add a little more fun. Jack zoomed out of the Pole and went through the open window. He tiptoed through the bookshelves, moving them to spy on his Elsa. When did Elsa ever become mine??? Jack ignored the thought and spectated Elsa.
