Chapter 15

Elsa paced back and forth. It's been months since she's seen her father, who's coming to the Pole TODAY! Elsa wiggled her ring from left to right. So many expectations I have to meet. Oh my snowflake, what if he thinks I'm an idiot for calling him for help.  

Elsa started to hyperventilate. Oh sweet mother of snow!!  Suddenly, she was spooked from Jack embraced her from behind. She sighed, her body cover by his warmth, and place her head on his shoulder. Elsa opened her eyes, blue meeting blue. Jack's smile calmed her down and she smiled, "There's my confident Blondie." Elsa giggled, but it was quickly interrupted. 

A bright portal formed in the middle of the room. Elsa walked out Jack's arms, feeling very tense. Manny came out with an expressionless face. He faced his daughter and tilted his head, "You seem tense, Starlight?" Elsa gulped and nodded her head. The Guardian of Childhood chuckled, "Don't worry, love. You've done a great job."

Elsa smiled brightly, "Really?" 

Manny nodded, "So, tell me, Starlight. How's our Jack Frost?" 

"He's amazing. In fact, my prediction was right. Nightlight's soul lives in Jack. We've been teaching him through the Guardian's connection between them and Nightlight." 

Manny nodded, "How do I know you're telling the truth?" 

Elsa got excited. She grabbed Jack's wrist and put him face to face with Manny, "See, he's glowing." Manny grinned from ear to ear. Elsa sighed, "Which is also why you're here. I need you to help Jack tame his glow. You have the expertise of light and I thought you would be the best bet." 

Manny smiled at his daughter and knelt to her level, "You've become such a bright girl. You definitely got that from your mother." 

"Well, I did get your determination from you." Manny laughed and patted Elsa's shoulder. 

He looked at Jack, "How's my daughter been?" 

"Amazing, sir. She's been very helpful. I would never have gotten this far without her." Jack winked at Elsa, making her giggle. 

Manny watched Jack and Elsa smiled at each other. He cleared his throat, getting the twos attention, "Starlight?" Elsa hummed, "I have a surprise for you." Elsa furrowed her brow. What?  Manny pointed to the portal. Elsa walked up to it. Bruni, on the other hand, sprinted into it. She tried to grab the reptile, but ended up tripping on her dress. So clumsy...

Elsa groaned, "Bruni, you stupid reptile." 

"That's no way to talk to one of my creations. I worked hard on that, you know." Elsa froze. She looked in front her. A brown boot and metal peg stood in front of her. Her blue eyes trailed upward til they met brown. Elsa squealed and jumped into the arms of the brunette. Once again, Elsa fell to the floor with the brunette In her arms. 

She held on tightly, "Haddock!" 

Hiccup chuckled, "I missed you too, Snowdrop."

Jack watched as Elsa embraced the mysterious brunette. His blood boiled. Who the hell is that? Jack did not like how Elsa was hugging him. Granted, he hated that she was hugging him in general. Jack rolled his eyes and walked to the fallen two. They were smiling and laughing, which Jack cut off immediately by clearing his throat.
