Now I'm really worried. That little notebook Mike always had with him, he was gathering notes on me, my power. Whoever Mike is working with, them, they are coming to get me.
"What do they need with me?!" I frantically ask as he starts detatching tubes that I didn't notice were pumping fluids into my body.
I try to put my feet on the ground, but Navino just lifts me up with an unseen energy force.
"They call themselves the Antimentals. They spend years looking for the power, the power you have. If they captured you, they would wipe out the entire Elemental population, because we stop them from ruling, and if they rule, all will be lost." Navino quickly explains to me.
"Come on, lets go." Navino shoots a stream of energy at me and we vanish.
We reappear in a small training room.
"Evan, you need to learn to defend your self if they come again.
"Ok, wait! Slow down! Tell me what is happening!" I command, surprising myself by the amount of authority in my voice.
"Evan, the Antimentals are stronger than us. They use their own form of power. It doesn't work the same way that our powers work. Our powers draw from nature, their powers draw from evil forces far beyond our imagination. Their goal is to capture the Elders of each Elemental type. The Elders are the strongest Elementals of their type. The Elders have protection, and can defend themselves with their Elemental powers. If the Antimentals get your power, and kill the Elders, the system of the Elementals will crumble. This is why we need to protect you. The Antimentals have seen our base, they know who you are, they will come for you again."
I decide to shut up after that.
