Chapter 6: Consequences

!SWEAR WARNING!

Just realized it's been like 3 days. Nuuuuuu!

When I wake up, I'm tied to a chair in an unfamiliar room.

What the heck? How did this happen?

I look around. It looked like a bar, which is strange.

I start freezing the chair when a girl enters the room. She has messy blond buns and a psychotic grin.

"Hi cutie," she says. "I'm Toga, and we're going to be best friends!"

I laugh.

"In your dreams maybe."

The door opens and the hand guy walks in, along with a few other psycho-looking dudes.

"I wouldn't do that," the hand guy says, pointing at the ice. "Wouldn't want to set off an explosion, would you?"

I stop, glaring.

"What do you want?" I ask. "Why am I here? Heck, How am I here?"

He laughs.

"We want to recruit you," he says. "By the way, I haven't introduced myself. I'm Shigaraki. This is Toga, Dabi, and Kurogiri."

"Not nice to meet you," I snap. "Komori Tora. Can I leave now?"

"If you want your parents dead, the door is right over there," he says, pointing. He triggers something and the metal cuffs release.

"You don't know who my parents are," I say, walking towards the door.

"Shota Aizawa and Yamada Hizashi. Eraserhead and Present Mic."

I stop with my hand on the doorknob.

"Here's my deal Tora," Shigaraki says. "You join the League of Villains and convince everyone you're one of us, and I'll let your parents live."

I glare daggers at him.

"Fine."

It's been a week since I "joined" the League of Villains. I've stayed in the HQ since. Now was my first time leaving, and it was to fight against my friends.

I was supposed to stay in hidden with Toga until Shigaraki introduced us. I also got a new outfit that I hated.

To make things worse, both of my dads were there.

"I don't think you've met our new members," Shigaraki says.

"That's us!" Toga whispers. "Let's go!"

I sigh, then put on a face I've been working on since I accepted. Making sure to seem cold and collected, I walk out with Toga. 

The first person I see is Kirishima. He's staring at me with pure shock and...

Betrayal.

It hurts, but what hurts more is when I see my dads.

They're both staring at me. Aizawa has a scar under one eye, and Hizashi has circles under his eyes.

"Our new recruits, Toga and Tora," Shigaraki. "Which of you wants to start?"

He gives me a threatening look, so I sigh and go farther into my bad girl act.

"Let's get this party started," I say in a disgustingly evil voice that makes me want to rip out my vocal cords.

I turn to the group.

"Who should I attack first?" I ask, making it sound like a taunt. I really mean it to figure out what Shigaraki wants me to do.

He looks at Todoroki, and I scream in my head.

Shit!

"How about Icy-hot?" I ask, stepping forward and half-heartedly sending ice towards him. He dodges easily and Shigaraki gives me another look.

Not good enough. Half-hearted attacks won't keep my family safe.

Getting angry, I spin in midair and send a blast of ice from my hand. It hits him in the head and he falls, Shoji barely managing to catch him.

I turn and send out two more bolts of ice, one at Tokoyami and one at Bakugo.

Then the fight starts, so I get to fight the people I care about.

After a few minutes I end up fighting Kirishima.

"What happened to you Tora?!" He asks, pushing himself away from me. "Snap out of it!"

I roll my eyes.

"You wouldn't understand Kiri!" I shout, blasting more ice. "It's not just about me!"

I catch Shigaraki's eye, and he shakes his head.

I can't tell anybody.

"I can't help you if you don't tell me how!" He shouts back. "C'mon Tora! Be reasonable!"

I scream and blast him with more ice. This time it hits, freezing him in place. I walk over and get close to his face.

"Sorry Kiri, I can't. Consider this a breakup."

My heart stings as I say it, but I know it's best. Now he can find someone to fight with him instead of against him.

I'm just realizing Shigaraki might expect me to kill somebody when he calls for a retreat.

I run back, where Kurogiri has a portal. Before I leave, I take one last look at my parents and the damage I've caused before leaving my past behind.
